    hii , I'm about to purchase this , and I have a doubt, if I use it for backup only option for full photos and videos ,and after connecting it on my Mac/windows computer can I view the photos and videos and copy them to Macbook as a normal Pendrive itself??? or its like encrypted like non viewing on computer?? pls reply..and which is the newer version? should I buy flip because its cheaper and also I use 14 pro max and luxe cost more can I use expand flip with org adapter when I upgrade to iPhone 15 ??

      The SanDisk iXpand LUXE is primarily designed for easy backup and transfer of photos and videos between your iPhone and the drive itself. It shouldn't be encrypted or restricted from viewing on your computer.
      As for the newer version, it's a good idea to check the manufacturer's website or contact their customer support to confirm which model is the latest.
      Regarding your iPhone compatibility concerns, the SanDisk iXpand LUXE is designed to work with iPhones, including the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, compatibility with future iPhone models like the iPhone 15 would depend on the connectivity options provided by those devices.     If you direct record video to the drive, is the video limited to 1080p or can you record 4k 60 direct to the drive?

      I think you cant record 4k. This is due to the writing speed of lighting port and usb card.

    JUST BOUGHT THE IXPAND FLASH DRIVE LUXE TO USE ON MY IPAD PRO AND IPAD. WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE IXPAND. KEEPS REPEATING THE MESSAGE TO PLUG IN WHICH I DO AND NOTHING HAPPENS. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?

    I plugged in this usb-c drive to backup all of my Google Drive Photos (roughly 15,000 files), my iPhone went from 100% to 20% and then 19% and the usb-c stopped working due to low batterry. at this point, I only backed up 11,000 files. there were still 4,000 files to go. I recharged my iPhone but not sure once my phone battery becomes full again, do I have to restart the whole process from scratch or I can pick up from where usb-C drive dropped off ? any comments ?

      It should resume where it left off. You can check what all is on there using your computer tho, just to be in the safe side. Plug it into your computer and see if it retained those (I’m certain they will be). Good luck! 😊
