BE CAREFUL…!!! Audax can be very addictive. I started 2 years ago and I’m hooked. I blame Ricky lake for that. 😂 And now I ride stupid distances, rides through the night , and other Audax related crazy stuff. 😂😂😂 Thanks for taking the time to record and share. Take care. 👍👍👍👍
Yes... I can see how it could be a slippery slope!
Thanks for the heads up about your vlog. 😂 I feel your pain Ian!! #cola. Very well done to you all 👏👏
Deja vu! X
It was a great day out despite the brief spell of rain in the morning. Gave you a wave 👋 a couple of times. First was when I had to turn around 2 miles in and go back to the start to collect my tools and water bottle. Like a fool, I'd left them in the car. Second time was when you'd stopped under a tree opposite the right turn just after Thimbleby. Finally, I caught my friends at JJs and only stopped briefly as it was a bit on the busy side. Not my first Audax, but it was definitely the first time I've left vital stuff in the car and had to go back. Felt a proper idiot 🙄.
Yes... It came in really during the rainy spell! I frequently leave my water bottle behind so you're not alone? Have you any more upcoming Audax plans?
@@PaulGreenVlog nothing yet, although I keep looking at the Audax Uk website to see if anything comes up. Colourful Clumber 100 k in October is a good one, but I'm unsure if it still runs. One year some poor bloke forgot to put his front wheel in the car. Fortunately someone local to Bolsover found one for him and he was able to ride. Now I bet he definitely felt daft 🤣
Well done guys great ride.. you should definitely do more Audaxing 😊🚴🏻👍 Pete
Cheers Pete. I'd definitely like to do more. There's aren't a lot in Lincolnshire though it seems!
Nice to have met you. Have just started to subscribe to your channel. Glad my charger gave you enough juice to get back to the start.
Cheers Mark.. It was a great help. Video at the weekend will hopefully show how I (may) have fixed the GoPro battery issue!
Excellent, I plan to lose my Audax Virginity next month, so looking forward to it, looking at the course and time allowed, there no time for faffing around…well done all
Go for it! I really enjoyed. Which one are you planning to do?
@@PaulGreenVlog the ‘’ FAIRIES SUMMER DREAM 100’’
Well done Paul and Ian, hopefully the first of many bigger rides - maybe with more cafe stops. Send your Wahoo back Paul, Roy got a new one from them.
Cheers Neil. I think it was a corrupted route file..... First time I've had it.... Other routes have loaded OK so fingers crossed
A great ride. Yeah, you really can't get too comfortable in those cafes when you have to finish within a certain time. But I guess you finished up all right. 😊 👍
Too bad about the fellow who had trouble with his bike.
Hi there Roy and Wendy.👋👋 Wendy did you enjoy your audax?
Yes it was lovely - although missed the opportunity to stop and look at the scenery as there is a time pressure for us slow ones!
Yes.... The last 20 miles was a rush for sure!
Men of a certain age and technology ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sounds just like a Wheelers at Large ride. 😁
😂😂😂😂 Technology is a wonderful thing.......
