Greatest Christmas song recorded in history. Bing Crosby just can't be beat. it is a song made famous by him in the movie " Holiday Inn" back in 1942. Written by The great Irving Berlin. It has been re-recorded 9 times over the years. Originally on a 78 record by Delta records. Just something about that song that is heart tugging with sentiment as only Bing Crosby could sing.

Nancy when Irving Berlin wrote these lyrics he told his secretary to write them down as he said he had just composed his best song ever. Then he said...No i've just composed the best song anyone has ever written and he did. It will be 80 years old next year but will still get played 80 years from now. Sadly some of todays Christmas songs by Arianna Grande and Justin Bieber won't last 8 years.

Other than the family, joy, and cheer of the holiday, Christmas is totally incomplete without the beautiful voices of Ol' Blue Eyes and the Ol' Crooner themselves. I have been spending me holidays alone for years now because of my work, but other than getting all the wonderful Christmas cards and phone calls of my family spreading their love, it's always Frankie and Bing who put a smile on my face for this time of year. Besides, this is the only time of year you can hear their voices on the radio stations. They just don't make good music like this anymore.
I am in the middle of the Ocean sailing to Asia and this has made me cry.

This was my mum’s favourite song and her father sang a bit like Bing - but died during the war when she was 11 - gets me every time
I was born on Christmas and will be 62 this year! This Christmas music by these two and others like Dean Martin, Danny Kaye and many others of that time remind me of the many wonderful Christmas times that I had as a kid in the 60's. My parents, Aunt & Uncle that we would get together with every year on Christmas Eve would have this music playing. Brings back many great Christmas memories and some sadness that those Family members are all gone now. Time goes by so fast! Spend this Christmas with the ones you Love and have a very Merry Christmas together!

Frank & Bing were buds, Frank was an often guest on Bing’s radio& TV show, too. Both are legends. Wish more duets of them would be remastered for public.
