How to Transfer BNB From Binance or Binance US to Trust Wallet on Phone

- In this cryptocurrency tutorial, I will show you how to transfer BNB from Binance or Binance US to your Trust Wallet on your phone. I am on an iPhone but the process will be similar if on an android. Why would you want to send BNB over to your Trust Wallet? Well, then you can use it to buy other tokens on PancakeSwap like SafeMoon, CAKE, etc. Or you can also stake your BNB tokens on your Trust Wallet and earn 15 to 30%.

Thank you, Bruce!! :) There are two main types of Crypto. PoW (proof of work) and PoS (proof of stake). Bitcoin is an example of PoW. In simplest terms, staking coins allows you to earn interest essentially on your balance. Hey there! Follow what I showed in the video. The address will start with bnb which is the new beacon chain (former Binance Chain BEBp-2) not smart chain which is BEP-20. This is assuming the ones you bought on Binance.US are BEP-2/Beacon chain tokens. If you bought BEP20/smart chain tokens, which Binance.US now supports, then you need to send it to the smart chain address on Trust wallet. ALWAYS only sent a small amount to make sure a transfer goes through before trying to send the full amount.

Of course sadly I’m here because I bought bnusd on safemoon wallet and it says I have insufficient gas funds to make the transactions I can’t even convert it into binance or safemoon so now I think I have to just sent my whole wallet over to trust wallet sadly

Thanks!! It should have gave you a notification on Binance right before the purchase saying you have you wait until the funds clear from the bank, before you can transfer or sell the crypto you buy. That is fairly common among exchanges, especially for first time buyers.
When I preview withdrawal near the top its has BEP2, BSC, and ERC20. Which do I select?? I want to transfer to wallet to buy Safemoon.

Why do you choose the regular BNB in trust wallet as opposed the the Smart Chain BNB?
Hi Susan, because I was sending/transferring regular BNB. Then if I need to I can swap it via the DEX in the trust wallet for Smart Chain BNB.

Yes, depending on how you buy it. If you buy it with a connected bank account, you have to wait for the bank funds to clear, before you can transfer the crypto you bought to another exchange or wallet.
Can you do it from coinbase to trust wallet?
Yes you can do it from any exchange to the Trust wallet, as long as the crypto you are sending is supported by both. BNB is not on Coinbase.
Can various other crypto coins (other than BNB) also be transferred from Binance.US to Trust Wallet for safekeeping?

Hi Tre!! Which platform Binance US or Trust Wallet? If you buy BNB or any crypto really on Binance US you have to wait for the funds to clear from the bank before you can transfer them, time will vary.
What if I'm swapping cardano or xrp into trust wallet?
Same exact process. As long as the Trust Wallet supports that crypto. You copy the address of the wallet in the Trust wallet and paste it in when sending the crypto from Binance or whatever exchange it is on.

So I somehow made a mistake when doing Thai the second time around.. I know have in my trust wallet 2 different bnbs.. one of them is the erc20 bnb and I can't do anything with it on trust wallet and to send back to binance it will cost me $50 in eth. Is there any other options for me??
Yeah the ETH network GAS fees are horrible. You should be able to swap it in the DEX, in the Trust wallet for another type of BNB.
Hi Matt, hope you can help me with this I have my binance. Us set up on my laptop and I'm trying to move some BNB over to my trust wallet I copy the address from my trust wallet to my binance but it does not recognize the address there is something there with whitelisting can you explain thanks
Hello make sure you copy the right BNB address, you need the regular BNB not the Binance Chain BNB. Go into Trust wallet, click on Receive, then BNB (not smart chain) copy that and then on Binance US paste the address in the Recipient Address. Make sure you are on the BEP2 network. Then put in the amount you want to send.

Is there a way to avoid fees?
Hello no sorry, every crypto will at the very least have a transaction fee associated with the network. Other than that fees will vary depending on the type of transaction.
It says the current currency is not open for withdraw any idea why
What currency are you trying to withdraw? And did you just buy that currency? If you just bought it usually you have to wait to withdraw it until the funds clear from the bank.

Yep! Except you would find your Trust Wallet ETH address instead of the BNB address.
@@MattTaylorVariety thanks . Not sure why a lot of methods out there would use like a third platform to do the transfer? Is that because the initial ETH is in their Coinbase, and you can't transfer the ETH directly from coinbase to trust wallet without needed the brokerage account?
@@ee7369 Yes that is exactly right, it all depends on where you are sending the crypto. In this case, the Trust wallet supports ETH, so you can just send it straight from Coinbase or Coinbase Pro directly to the Trust wallet address.

The videos out there uses Coinbase but then talk about transferring the BTC to Kucoin and then in Kucoin swap BTC to BNC and then transfer the BNC to trust wallet to buy safemoon with the smart chain version. Why would they do that if, as you said, they could have transfered the BNC from Coinbase to trust wallet directly?
@@ee7369 Because Coinbase doesn't have BNB. So in that case, that is correct, they would buy BTC on Coinbase and send it to Kucoin or Binance US and then buy BNB with it. Then send the BNB to the Trust Wallet. They would swap the BNB to the Binance Smart Chain, in the Trust wallet so they can buy Safemoon with it. And you are very welcome!

So when I attempted to transfer my BNB it says the my BNB is locked. It states I can check when this lock is over but I can’t seem to figure out how. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there, did you have it staking? If so, it is locked for 7 days after unstaking it.

@@lunarlunacy4209 Oh your BNB is locked on Binance? You probably have to wait for the funds to clear first, then you will be able to transfer them over to the Trust Wallet. When you bought it should have told you how many days you will need to wait before you can transfer it.

I believe Trust wallet supports USDT ERC20. But you need to double check. And always only send a very small amount to make sure it goes through before sending more.
My binance says ERROR, “The address you entered is not a valid bep20 (bsc) withdrawal address. Trying to send BNB to trust wallet addy
Hi Chris! You need to grab the BEP2 normal BNB address on your Trust Wallet. Then you can send your BNB from Binance.US to your Trust Wallet. Then once you get it, you can use the DEX feature and swap that BNB for BEP20 (BSC). Does that make sense?
My screen shows 3 options on binance when pasting my address. What’s me to choose bep2 or bsc or erc20. So I chose bsc 🤷♂️.
@@Chris-fw1jv I know you have that option. But if you bought or have BNB on Binance US it is bep 2. So you can only send that bep 2 to a bep 2 address. So, get your bep 2 address from Trust wallet and send it to that.
I don’t know how to do the bep2 thing on trust wallet. I also don’t understand why I have to use the dex option. I’ll bring swapping BNB for a coin launching at the end of the month.

You need to contact them. I don't work for them, I am not their tech support. For one thing, you need to make sure you are sending it to the right address. But if you have any issues you really need to contact them for help.
Binance is giving me an ERROR message saying a portion of my assets have been locked and are currently unable to be withdrawn. This error appears on the final step. Any idea why? Binance still hasn’t responded to me about the issue
Hi Justin when did you buy the assets? Did you buy them on Binance recently? Sometimes the exchanges that you buy the crypto on will make you hold the asset on the platform until the bank transfer clears.
When I enter my verification code at the very end, I am getting error message saying: A portion of your assets have been locked and are currently unable to be withdrawn. Please check your USD deposit history to see when exactly this lock expediters
When did you buy the BNB? If you just barely bought the BNB on Binance or Binance US and then the funds are locked for a few days while the transfer from the bank gets cleared. When you buy your BNB, it will give you a notice telling you that.

@@hustlefrost127 When you buy on Binance.US, it gives a big popup notification that says your crypto will be locked for a certain amount of days before they can be sent to another exchange/wallet (BEFORE you actually make the transaction). Are you on Binance or Binance.US?

How do you get the normal BNB in your wallet to begin with? I only have smart chain?
You have to buy it somewhere. Like in the video, I bought normal BNB on BinanceUS and then sent it to the Trust Wallet. Or you can convert your smart chain BNB back to normal BNB.

Yep there sure is. You copy your receive address for BNB on binance.us and past it when you go to send BNB from Trust Wallet. I will do a video on it in a few days.

@@chriscon818 You put cash in, meaning you transferred cash to Binance right and then bought BNB? Like I said in my first comment, exchanges wait for the cash to clear from the bank or debit card, etc. (cash is fiat currency) Until they release it. You can still buy crypto but you can move it off the exchange until the funds clear. That is very common.

I was told that by staking $1,000 worth of tokens from binance to trust wallet I could make $100 a day is that true and if so could someone please give me some guidance I'm completely lost and broke
Nope not true at all. If you stake $1000 worth of tokens it depends on the APR. But let's say it is 10%. You would make $100 in a whole year. which is about $0.27 a day. Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about.
