Just some Taj Mahal in a noisy alleyway for this Sunday morning! Since we had Andrew with us to do our holiday livestream, I thought it would be great to have him join us this Sunday. We used play “Queen Bee” at our Monday night residency in downtown St. Paul all the time. For my money, it’s Taj’s best song. Hope you enjoy our trio version, and if you’re not familiar with the original-do yourself a favor and look it up.
As an aside, I was so, so heartbroken to hear of Tony Rice’s passing yesterday. We will do some sort of tribute to him at some point. It’s hard to even put into words what kind of an impact he had and the legacy he will leave behind.
