You seem so much happier doing this on your own terms, it’s nice to see
Hi from Thailand. My ride is a DC2 maxed out NA setup. Tip from me is to seam weld everything head to toe. and a full cage. Chassis done, move onto suspension works. I use a Mugen setup with a MUGEN FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM setup and Function 7 rear Lower Control arm. The Mugen front control arm was straight out of the race series my shop had in the back. Reduce as much weight as possible but keep it balanced with the same ratio front to rear. I use carbon fiber. Everything from Roof to fenders and hood and lips to bumpers and doors. Glass is heavy so lexan. Engine just went through TODA cams C2 set and valve trains and springs Pistons CP or Weisco. Over bore is great if your block is beefy. I go with 85 mm pistons. Transmission really made a difference with a 4.929 final ratio with the TYPE R gears. Sure you lose top speed, but acceleration is boosted in all gears. Brakes, are important so try Spoon Monoblocks up front and switch in the DC5 R rear calipers. Wheels go with some Mugen or Spoon for light weight or until they make Carbon rims in 16s. That's my ride. Can also check it out in Honda Tuning Feature a few years back or at my FB page Lertsiri Boonmee
Owned by Integra for like 6 months and I loved it. Only regret is that I wish I drove it more. Unfortunately it got stolen, but I’ll definitely owned multiple in life time. Probably gonna buy one early-mid next year
This is why I leave an AirTag hidden under the rear seats of all my old Hondas.
Literally my only fear of getting an integra
@@IchiBeemoi taped an air tag inside the driver air vent of mine lol. but like deep-ish in it where you cant see it. black tape too so it wasnt visible at all. completely forgot about it til the new owner said he was getting a notification about an air tag in the car. if you also set it off so it would alarm it echo'd throughout the car so you couldnt find it. was my like 5th integra but im on MR2s right now
Even if I don’t have a manual/coupe with speeed, I love my automatic sedan integra:)
-
Even semi stock, it still gets people to look at it , and even if it didn’t the car is just fun to drive, each time you push that gas pedal, turn or go in some tight corners it feels great
Automatic integra? What would that be like?
@@rollthelosingdiceit feels like a 98 corolla but honda if that makes sense
Facts bro, I B20 swapped my LS lol its fine for me. More torque, still automatic. The b18 was smoking too much and couldn't pass emissions :c so I bought the engine and another auto transmission from HMO
Just coilovers make this cars looks so nice!
Is it fine to have a automatic transmission for a integra
the integra is so much fun in the canyon. i have a 95 with 16 by 8 wheels, nitto neo gens, k tuned suspension, cat back exhaust and a bucket seat its a fun car and i got it for only $600
I miss my integra, man. Had it built to my exact liking before it got stolen around this time last year :/ been tryna leave it in the past, felt like I’d lost a part of myself but seeing this video feels good. I’ll do it again someday, it’ll be even better 💭
mines been stolen this time of the year twice now but shes still alive
@@adiirall7228how do you guys not have a kill switch or just howwww😳
To me.... It's crazy how.. rare it is to see them..
Always liked them..
But from... Everywhere to now.. a rare sighting...
Is almost unbelievable..
Cheers from Orange County California...
This is all the same vibes as your so you wanna videos from the fi days. It's amazing. Thank you.
Im a GSR owner and I approve this message. Thank You.
I'm a integra type rx owner and I also approve of this message
This makes me feel a lot better about my car and I couldn't agree more
Still love my Integra GSR aero kit I have the Optional OEM Kit it's the cleanest kit imo. Currently building a 97 LS for the winter season to K Swap. So I'll have a B and K
I owned a G35 and Alex made like no g35 content, I sell g35 for g37x. NOW ALEX MAKES G35 CONTENT, I have become sad.
He made a how to modify g35 about 2 months ago
Alex this is your best episode of How To Modify yet
First honda i ever drove was a 2001 GSR and I've been in love with them since
Awesome video especially 6:29 thank you for addressing Machine Shop Solutions for the car enthusiasts ❤😂🎉
finally, ive been waiting for this video
Cool to a 79th productions clip in this video. Underrated Channel
Also, for my intake, I kept the stock intake tubing and box, I just cut out the resonator chamber and kept the black tubing from that to scoop air from under the fender.
ya know the bb5-8 prelude is next babyyyy give me some goodies. Love seeing what you guys are doing with the channel btw
Another good video I hope you talk about how to modify a DSM, Cobalt SS, or C5/C6 Corvette next
Great video bro
Still have my 2000 LS currently building my K20 on the side 💪🏼💯
I like to hear more about problems, & transmission specs. You give good advice for kids though.
This might be a bit of a slept on car but I would like to here you talk about the Acura CL Type S. I think it has alot of potential
An Acura tl video is much needed 👀👀
Just picked up a GsR as a project car !
I miss this guy ❤❤❤
Seeing this just makes me want my old Acura Legend back 😭
I'd love to hear your take on the prelude and how to modify it
I’m fixing my 98 red teggy and I couldn’t be happier
i love my 2000 ls b20b with em1 trans full suspension rebuild ❤
I knew we had something in common, the typeR is on my bucket car list. I would help someone kick a bucket for one…..nah. Yeah. Side note: exhaust is all about the resonators and type of materials used to make the piping. Heavy gauge tube, in stainless, with proper resonators and high flow cat is the business for a daily.
Rods, bearings for rods and mains, buy thrust bearings too, springs and retainers for valves, and cams. NA school out.
Best video ever, can you make how to modify Honda Civic year 2000 please
Lmao bro, that intro was hilarious😂 "now your single " has me dead
Can u do one with the da models cus I have one I want to build a sleek but track style car with the awd set up but idk what direction to go in and would want ur advice to do so
few years back i told ya about an integra i was looking to get. well i got it now and its such a nice driver. some guy offered me 6k for it in the lowes parking lot. shame its an auto but it fell in my lap and i had to save it.
Had one for 4 years. Lost in in a wreck that totaled it out. That happened 10 years ago, I still think about it at least once a month. 😢
This integra experience is a slippery slope. I got a 5-speed GS a year and a half ago and next thing I know, I’ve got a spare donor integra for it and now I have a 3rd integra GSR that’s sucking up funds. Naturally aspirated with new suspension, intake, exhaust, clutch, flywheel, motor mounts, timing belt, water pump, AC, and power steering. Oh new seals across the board.
Under the hood looks great, body looks like a hooptie 😂
Very enjoyable driving experience.
Bro this is the vibe, built teggy but it looks like a crusty nugget so no one wants to steal it
Can you do a 5th generation prelude or a Non-VR4 Mitsubishi Gto/3000gt
The R's weren't seam welded, that's been repeated so often it became an 'internet fact', but nope. They did get thicker steel pressings in a couple of areas like the shock towers and extra spot welds in a few places and extra bracing.
Upgrades? _The very first thing_ I would install is a limited slip diff. Totally transforms the car(and any other FWD).
Second thing I would do is replace all your bushes. These cars have more than a botanical garden and after 20+ years they're almost certainly buggered. I would avoid poly in general and go OEM(or spoon/mugen if you've got deep pockets, or hardrace which are cheaper and very good), but especially in the rear, as Honda patented a design to passively increase toe in to stabilise the car under braking/cornering, which is one reason why they're so good in the twisties. Polys would take that away. Fresh bushes will also transform the car.
Then I'd be looking at intakes/exhausts, (actual)cold air intakes. You can actually do a fairly good DIY job using the original air filter housing and some PVC pipe run down to the bumper area. I wouldn't go nuts on spring rates, 8kg in the front, 6kg in the rear sorta thing. That's for more daily driving/more like the original R setup, only more. Thicker anti roll(sway) bars make a difference too, either third party or used JDM ones if you can find some, JDM 98spec on are the thickest.
Agree on the 15's. 16's are cool, but far fewer tyre choices and if your roads are any way crappy not a good bet. it's one reason why non JDM Integras stayed with 15's(very smooth roads in Japan). Though for some odd reason USDM(and Canada) R's got JDM Civic Type R wheels. Only go 16's if you intend running upgraded brake calipers like Spoon as 15's won't clear them.
Gosh dang, described my entire ownership over the past 5 years 😂😂😂
im a integra type rx owner and i agree there great gad a ls Integra then went to a type r
Any reliable sites you know of to buy exterior parts for the teggy?
I pick up a Crx with this engine B18B1 I like it
The RS trim (no sunroof) is something I want for a kswap.
love my Integra had it stock for maybe half a year and then immediately k swapped it lol
3:28 This One.. Same color etc..

I want to get early 2000's style decals, like the fast and furious cars, what is the style called? And where can I get them? I like the looks of the eclipse, supra, skyline and the others with the wild decals on them
Can you do one on the rsx?
I would love it if you could do one on the 5th gen Honda prelude I’ve been building mine for about 2 years now and I’m currently buying a second one for my girlfriend and we wanna both build up the motor I have a jdm h22 red top from the type s
Oh yeah 🚗💥💨🔥
I own a 98 GSR with a swap H23A and LSD transmission and boy oh boy🚗😊
First Gen TSX please and thank you.
Ok, so Im looking at buying one of these, and I want to get a LS trim because of the price, but I just don't know if I can make power with these engines. As of now, it would be a summer project car, and i would probably do cams, rockers, springs, pistons and piston rods, cylinder head and an improved oil pump, so i can get into those high rpms. Also probably do a turbo kit with it all, is this a vialble option? Or should I just try to find a GSR? Also, I can't find any cam kits for the SOCH B18B1 that comes in the LS trim acura integra. PLEASE HELP!!!
Do the TL next
I Learned How To Drive On My Uncles 98 Integra GSR sedan. Bought the car after i graduated high school back in 2015. I Still Have My Baby Till this Day. He Bought it back in 2012

@@rollthelosingdice yeah it sounds crazy to me now.....started as a lot kid at honda in 1998 bought my first 88 hatch for $800 on a credit card. Been buying building and selling ever since.

Please do an 8th gen civic si
Rsx / DC5 next!

She was super cool...
Told us how her son will get the car.. how he begged her to keep it.. waxed it...
A time capsule...
Make one on a prelude
EP3 CTR next yeah 🫨
bro that intro was too personal lmaooo
I've had my 94 RS since Sept 23. I just wish other Integra drivers were physically capable of seeing me in traffic without revving the crap out of their engines to get my attention
EDIT: shout out to you for literally not even including the RS in the line-up of models. (It also has the weight savings of the Type R BTW)
So I shouldn’t buy 16x7? With a 215/45?
3rd gens are dope but the 2nd gen has my heart 🥹
2nd gens dont get talked about enough as a 3rd gen owner
I missed that intro beat so much
Bad info about the gsr intake manifold. It is not restrictive whatsoever. Rather its a two stage system that allows the engine to make better midrange power. Deleting it without modifying the ecu tune will result in less power and a check engine light.
Nobody goes into sams club and gets excited for Doritos cool ranch my guy 🤦🏿♂️😂
The 3rd gen jdm front end was inspired by the 2nd gen front and rear, ngl I love the 2nd gen better and they more rare
Civic si em1 next
current owner of 2 teg 💪🔥🔥
I went 16x8 and can’t really complain
Let’s see an ND Miata video
The internet was designed to talk about disgusting things you would do for 90s jdm icons.
My DB8 IS 🔥
Acura rsx please
How to build 8-9th gen civic si
Hyundai genesis coupe?
Jdm headlights look "better" but i grew up with the 4 eyes so its cooler to me
Can we please get a how modify a Genesis Coupe
Acura TL 04-08 Por Favor
I wish I could get my hands on one that isn’t beat to crap for a reasonable price
How about a Taurus
Lexus is300 next?
I was thinking about getting one of these and working on one as a project car. One thing I see in the comments of this video from owners or previous owners is that these get stolen. I was wondering is theft something that’s common with this car ? Or should I look at an entirely different platform altogether ?
theft is sadly very very common with integras you definitely want to invest in a kill switch and if you run a quick release a quick release lock as well as other security measures
11th gen si vid? Things are...tricky
No mention of the rs trim? No ac no cruise control no sunroof no power locks and the same rear rotor diameter as the type r haha, no vtec but lighter my stock rs beat a stock gsr only because of weight
The girl I should have married when I was 17 line hit me a little too hard. And I had an Integra at the time.
99 GSR here 🫶
g37 next 😤
How does this have 8k views but 46k 👍🏼?
