    I was a chemist with a paint manufacturer and we used a letter & numbering system for our colors. We may not have been trying for a light color but if we created one that was suitable for mass production/consumer use, we went with it. Sometimes the batches did not turn out as we hoped or one of the products we used to make the paint cause the color to shift and we had to work up a new batch. Each batch is given it's own ID (letters & numbers). This meant that our identification of colors was not always sequential. I do not know if that is what the chemists who make Arteza products are doing the same thing but just an idea.

    Love the shaker card. I have the alcohol markers and water brush set and I love them both. I struggle to figure out the numbering system also. I love the double sided tape as well. Now I think I might have to add the pencils to my collection. Thanking you for sharing.

      Thank you Marie. So I reached out to my contact at Arteza to see if she could explain the numbering system and she said there is no specific meaning to their numbering system! Arteza is always seeking ways to improve their products so I did mention to this to her. I love their everblend markers and water brush set too.

    Beautiful card, Lisa! I use colored pencils and love them. Thanks for the powder and acetate tip. I’ve been trying to solve that problem, too. I love your videos!

      Thank you Vicki. Yes, I found out the hard way that glitter and acetate don't do well together without the powder. I have always used sequins or beads in my shakers so never had the static problem until I used glitter.

    Love your card. You did a great job with the pencils. What ink pad did you use to stamp your images?

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  Před 3 lety

      Thank you Marian. I used the Forever Black ink pad from The Stamps of Life. All supplies are listed in the description box with links to them. Please note that if you use the same ink pad that you need to wait at least 10 minutes for the ink to dry after stamping the image before coloring. Otherwise, the ink will smear.

      Lisa Mears Card Designs Thank you, Lisa. I just got the forever black, but haven’t used it yet. Thanks for the heads up on letting it dry.

    Thanks for the video. I love my colored pencils. I feel Im better with them than alcohol markers. But I really wanted to see how this brand works. Can’t wait to see the water color ones. Thank you

      You're welcome Yvette. In my opinion, colored pencils seem much easier to color with than alcohol markers. I don't know why I haven't been using them sooner.
