So now that I'm looking at this, I only just realized that the twins are supposed to be her mind's "interpretation" of the twin boy and girl I don't know why it took me so long to figure that out and I'm probably wrong but that's just my stance on it

This mod's Alice is more of a Younger Version of Alice from Alice: Madness Returns. oh yeah she's likely even more insane than that alice judging by How she presumably kills the 2 children who she imagined as (i forgot the name of the twins) and laughs like a maniac at the end.

So how I interpret the twins in this is basically at the beginning we see fraternal twins. A girl and boy as obvious bullies of "Alice" When it goes to tweddle Dee and Dum. The small one starts the song, I associate this with the girl of the twins/bullies because not only is she smirking like the tweedle Dee and dum twins but also she looks like the one who would instigate the bullying of Alice. While the big twin is doing scary actions is the brawn of the two which I associate the brother twin to be. They're the ones who seem like they do the physical bullying of Alice Of course together they're a deadly monster duo who get sick pleasure from being mean to Alice. That's just my understanding of the song and stuff. Lol

Cause clearly this isn’t your regular Alice and Wonderland but what’s going on to cause this and why Alice is needing to reassure herself that she is in fact real I don’t know. Great work though, the quality of this is insane, and I love the Alice voice so much

So she goes insane and hallucinates them as something else in her own powertrip fantasy world. At the end, she basically killed them (Some of the hallucination translates into the real world, so she basically destroyed them both). She goes insane at the end because she is unable to tell what is real or what isn't, but reassures herself that since she can feel emotion, that she is indeed real. The place she is in also appears to be a psych ward. So they're all must be suffering from either some kind of mental issue, or are awaiting to be adopted.

If that makes sense.

After the initial "Watch as many times as possible till all the emotions are drained" I now have to say, I'm extremely excited for this new mod! The character design is creepy and great, second phase Alice looks like she's enjoying herself, First phase Tweedledee gives me gender envy, First phase Tweedledum reminds me of the illustration where he's freaking out over his new rattle, the story I can get from what the demo shows is very intriguing, Music is great, and this got me to work on my own Messed up Alice in Wonderland story again, so Kudos to you! Can't wait to see what you and the Troll Team have in store for this mod.
So it seems like alice is in a mental institution. She has obviously suffered through something making her have to say that she's real over and over and over. She killed the boy and the girl who were probably bullying her, and right before the tweedy dee and dum transform, she pulls out some king of lighter that she might burn one of her eyes with or its the murder weapon. Hope there's hope for Alice in this mod.
It also seems that she tried to make the bullies get away by pulling out the lighter but didn't work so she ran away. Finally she snapped after they chased her and killed them.
Suggestion. Make the deeper voice some sort of biker dude who tracks down Alice, having knew her as a child. In her head, he could be one of the knights, of whom not only would make badass horror creatures, but would also make quite a fast paced song that could take place during a chase. Could even be a parrying system for extra challenge.
Small theory here but: I think the 2 kids in the start are the girls past life as I think there 2 kids are twins so this makes sense why Alice kills them as she is mad at them so in order to get revenge on them she kills the twins Edit: the papers at the start of the demo is probably where she died, she was probably reincarnated in the universe if anyways question how she got there.
