What are the pros and cons of the suspension? I bought a Boyueda 5600w that's nearly identical to this one with the exception of the front suspension. The suspension is the 'C' type not this straight post suspension. I'll get the bike in a couple months...

Hi Pirate. Great videos. One comment on battery -T85 has also 21700 cells and it is 16s 7p. It states 1680wh and 28 Ah on battery (I have one) . That makes it a realistic 4Ah per cell. Boyueda has only 6s and claims total capacity 28.6Ah so 4.76Ah per cell. There are very few 21700 cells with 5AH and I doubt this has anything over 4AH per cell..This version has probably worst battery than T85.
I can confirm they use 4.95ah u can ask the supplier to show battery cell I did before order soooo happy but it was not Chinese it’s Samsung

@Pirate Can you make a "Janobike vs Boyueda" video with suspension / handling / 30"-45" climbing / acceleration testing? How does Boyueda compare to Yanobike T85 / Laotie ES18 in terms of overall quality & usage?
I'm not talking only about the "punch", but also about the suspension, especially on asphalt, handling, stability, safety, durability. I've seen your videos and you are avoiding this type of "vs" comparison, but it would be interesting for anyone who needs to make a choice (like me). Janobike may be less punchy, but it has a great suspension and lately, it's shipped with a decent rear & front shock absorbers (just like Laotie). Basically, out-of-the-box it should be more stable, comfortable to drive than Boyueda. On the other hand, we have this subjective punchiness, a more rigid body, better tires, and better battery in Boyueda (although the battery has a lower capacity than Laotie's 31ah, it's higher quality and probably delivers more power to the controllers which makes Bouyeda this powerful).
Huge thanks for your amazing work and sharing your passion & knowledge!
BTW. Maybe you could sell more parts in your shop for Janobike / Boyueda like shocks, forks, controllers, 3d parts etc. It might be a good business with profits for everyone especially that the availability of the parts is really unreliable and the delivery time is very long.

Hello mate just want to say two great videos, very nice introduction on the Scooter. So before I go buy this would you say its as powerful as the T85? Also do you think that the dual fork suspension drastically improves the ride compared to the T85?
It’s a higher quality/ heavy duty.
T85 seems to be better and multipurpose
@@PirateOnCZcams What do you mean by multipurpose? You mean the better suspension/handling in Janobike? For me, the front fork in Boyueda looks quite scary and maybe I'm wrong but I'd bet that T85's front suspension might have more grip.

Jeśli zamierzasz majsterkować, to T85/ES18 ma większy potencjał - amortyzator skrętu, stockowo lepsza kierownica (na Boyuedzie ciężko zamontować nawet uchwyt na telefon), całościowo lepsze zawieszenie. Jeśli będziesz jeździć po asfalcie, a nie po lesie, to Boyueda może być dla Ciebie lepsza. Szczerze mówię, że decyzja między tymi dwoma potworami jest bardzo trudna i w zasadzie najlepiej byłoby mieć dwa - Boyuedę do jazdy do pracy, a ES18p w góry, do lasu, na wycieczki.
T85/ES18 ma tą irytującą cechę, że kolumna kierownicy ma cały czas luz na tych 2 dolnych śrubach. Zamierzam ten problem wyeliminować, bo znacznie poprawi to przyjemność z jazdy, a samo dokręcanie nie pomaga, bo po paru kilometrach śruby znów są poluzowane. Boyueda z kolei jest krótsza i przednie koło ma tendencję do wpadania w dziurę i blokowania się, co z kolei oznacza "stawanie dęba" w najlepszym razie. Gdyby kolumna kierownicy miała inny kont natarcia (a niepraktycznie 90st.), to takie incydenty zdarzałyby się rzadziej. Wierz mi, że na ściółce leśnej, czy na szlaku pewniej się czujesz na ES18 niż na Boyuedzie, właśnie przez to, że przednie koło prędzej wyjedzie z dziury niż się w niej zatrzyma. Obie maszyny są świetne i nie pomylisz się z wyborem niezależnie od tego, którą kupisz. Większość osób po zapoznaniu z obydwoma na żywo wybiera konstrukcję ES18, ale wszyscy i tak patrzą na Boyuedę z szacunkiem - to dopracowana maszyna. Wybierając Boyuedę od razu załóż budżet 200 płn na wymianę tylnego amortyzatora, bo pink dobija przy najmniejszej nierówności.
Część Pirat!! Powiedz mi bo zamówiłem t85 i teraz myślę nad zwrotem (jeszcze nie doszedł) i zamówić Laotie es18 albo Boyueda. Czy to ma sens ?? Czy warto zatrzymać t85 jeżeli będzie miał silniki nie mniejsze i amortyzatory. Z tego co czytałem t85 już jest oszukany z mniejszymi silnikami i tandetnymi amortyzatorami. Doradz dzięki. He looks better than the Boy, he has a bigger battery, better shock absorbers (yes, the front fork looks better, but it's too soft and pounding with bigger unevenness), handlebars, seat. Just maybe it is less stable due to the absence of a fork, but a terrible one. Range 60-70km on the first charge in Dual Turbo mode. I have 100kg ...

Bought similar unit from Alibaba for around 700-800$, I ordered 60v 18Ah 3200w (18650 i think), but seller shipped different motor and batt. capacity. Got 52v 3200w (1600x2) but has 26Ah 21700 battery. You think I got the better deal vs. the 60v that I ordered? Thanks!
Depends how you look at it. You lost top end by maybe 5mph, but gained waaay more range and battery longevity. I would personally keep what you have. I think you won with there mistake. And if ever you want your scooter to go faster, just replace the stock controllers on your scooter for bigger amp controllers.

I just got the Quickwheel Explorer it is exactly like this one, & I can vouch for the torque. INSANE. You have to put your weight forward so the front wheel wont peel out when fully throttled, display tops out at 58 mph, gps clocked me going 50 mph, deck is a little small,
Not so good, lights, while look very intimidating, the mounting ends up shaking loose & doesn’t stay aligned. Heavy, 96 lbs w 36.4 ah Chinese Cell. The 2 chargers will fail on you soon, so buy a quality one, & you’ll have to re-wire the GX connection from 1+ 2-, as most are 1+ 3-. But for the price I paid, I’m extremely satisfied.

Hi my boyeuda has charge but keeps cutting out when I ride. The fob won’t work once cut out Then I have to plug the charger in for it to switch back on and soon as I ride again for a few mins it cuts out. Please please help me I only got the scooter yesterday

Has this scooter better suspension than t85?
In t85 you may change the shock to whichever you want, so it gives you much better customization. On the other hand, it's less stable on a flat surface, but better on the bumps.

I have a problem charging Boyueda. I just received it. When I plug in the original charger in socket 1 or socket 2 on scooter it sparks even that the charging adapter is not plugged in the electric socket yet. I think something is wrong with the sockets on the scooter. I'm afraid to try it again to burn something. I aligned the charger plug with the socket as it should be placed in the socket hole. Any recommendations please?
That’s because your not plugging it into the scooter before plugging it into the outlet
@@ohg7772 No, I'm doing the opposite. With received portable adapter (from US to EU) I'm even not able to plug it in the outlet, so I have to buy the replacement adapter first.
