I used to work in a retro dress shop and we had to wear swing dresses with our hair and makeup done, on my lunch breaks I’d often hear little kids say “look a Princess!” And I tell you NOTHING has made me feel so beautiful! Best compliment ever.

This palette is giving me some feelings. BTW Glamshop has a shade called Two Faced that's exactly like this regency blue one. Textured light blue sparkle with an almost purple base, it's one of the most magical shadows from them and definitely in my top three Glamshop picks.

I've never seen Bridgerton despite loving the regency period (Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer are more my speed). You did such a great job duping it! This collection is super pretty.
I really just want the icy highlight. I bought the last one she released that's more champagne and absolutely love the formula, so this cooler/icier one is right up my alley. Honestly that blue shade is giving me JD Glow "Good Gawd" vibes, so for anyone who just wants that sparkly blue duo chrome, definitely check out that shade from JD Glow.
After playing with my own collection, I can now say with the utmost certainty "Good Gawd" by JD Glow is basically an exact dupe of the "Regency Blue" shade. I also have their "Cold Azz Ice" highlighter and I feel the shade of that would be very similar to the lighter/white highlight from this collection as well for those who want cheaper alternatives or just want "Regency Blue".

I think you totally nailed the look without having to buy the collection.
Sadly I haven’t been impressed with PMG formulas. If this packaging wasn’t cardboard I may have been tempted but nah.
Unfollowing PMG’s Insta was the best decision for me. I don’t really like her formulas since going indie but her Insta still had me seriously contemplating palettes I KNOW I wouldn’t use. I love this series, such a great way to get the vibes without necessarily buying more stuff. Look turned out super pretty too!
@emi definitely the usual suspects haha. My favourite are clionadh and terra moons.I have shades I really like from pastelroses UK but their formula isn't quite as good. I've a few shades from shinebySD and they're spectacular, may buy more.
For mattes, I just pull from my existing palette collection, most of which have been depotted.
This look is soooo beautiful but then again that icy turquoise is one of my favorite colors! 🤍🖤

This PM x Bridgerton collection is stunning. I really want the eyeshadow palette and one of the highlighters, but I’m not sure yet if I’ll get them or not. I just spent quite a bit with the Black Friday sales, so might pass but not because I don’t want it.
This was helpful. Having you go through the shades this closely made me realize I had been imagining this palette as lighter than it actually is. I still love your look, but I am going to stick with my own collection instead of picking this up.
That other reserve shade was perfect!! The one you picked was too green 😩 haha idk why it hurt me so much. I love when you dupe the vibes it’s so inspiring.
I noticed that a long time ago that I would have gone with different shades shown which would have been a way better fit for certain colors if we go color-wise. But hey thats the masters choice. And Lauren said she just followed her heart and had to go with that one and thats totally fine of course, in the end of the day its up to her. May be not perfectly fitting colors but whatever lol.
Who knows if we actually see the true colors though? We all know that colors can look different on camera. With shimmery colors it can also depend on what angle you're looking at them from - Lauren is obviously attached to her arm while "we" are looking down from above. It's also possible that Lauren viewed the promo images on a device that made them look different. I do understand the frustration though lol
@Lili Mauve @Ramo I figure it’s all about angle and lighting otherwise she would’ve seen the green we were seeing more. I was just being silly guys. As I said, I love when she dupes the vibes. I don’t expect her to get it perfect either way because it’s all up to what she feels inspired to wear.
I’ve never seen Bridgerton and it’s not my vibe either but yes this collection is stunning of course. I wish I could afford it or justify the purchase when I have so many beautiful shadows (including 4 Motherships) so I def don’t need it. Love the video though! I’ve been wanting a Mothership palette for yearssss!! Which one out the four you have would you recommend?
@@laurac86 It really depends because they are all quite different and have their pros and cons depending upon your collection, your preferences, and style. I have Subliminal (the first mothership: it’s heavy on the cool tones if you prefer cool tones I would probably lean that way) Bronze Seduction (which is very glam and has the most sparkly and over the top glam special shades of the bunch and the mattes are very rich and deep so if you don’t go light handed the looks can get quite smokey) Midnight Sun (which might be my fav because I love warm tone neutrals with a bit of glam and opportunity for pops of color) and finally Divine Rose II which is a good choice if you like neutrals that lean pink in nature with the fun sextraterrestrial shade. I would check out some videos on them to find out what’s the perfect choice for you, kinkysweat is a good option for that and Patty Alonso too. They both own all of them. Also be sure to buy it during a sale! She historically has end of summer sales with deep discounts (20-30% off) and also again during Black Friday. Hope this all helps!! Happy hunting!!!💛💛

I’ve been subscribed for a bit but just more recently started watching *every* video you post * immediately.* We honestly have such similar styles in makeup, and I love these videos as they really inspire me. Definitely going to be recreating this look, probably on a day when I’m not going out since I’ve never tried blush draping before 😂
Love the sparkly, pastel fantasy vibes of today's look. Very Fairy Princess. I think the blue shade in that PMG palette is irresistibly beautiful but I'd prefer having it as a single personally. If you took that shade out, the palette probably wouldn't be as appealing or unique.
That is the only shade I find interesting from the swatches. I'll need to look around and pick up a single of something similar
It might be closed the to blue that was in odeneyes with Annette wolf palette 🤔 saw Glaminatrix was releasing a blue kinda like it .. the swatches may not be but on the eyes it’ll probably look close enough to whats in pats palette to substitute them

I actually have the nabla soul blooming on today and it reminds me very much of this one! Nabla looks lavender but there’s def a shifty blue shade. I’m also thinking of the bh holiday palette fairy lights

The whisteria blue/purple is perfect as these flowers show up very frequently in outdoor scenes. As do pink roses. The bold gold is a very important color as well but for the other family the Featheringtons.

This look is *so* good! I'm probably not going to pick up anything from this collection, but I'm definitely going to dig around what I already have to use some of these colors together!
Very wise. I'm disappointed that there isn't more scope in this collection ... It seems like a narrow range of shades that will only produce 1or2 looks because a couple of shades will look the same on the eye when used alone without another shadow to directly compare the shade to.
But maybe I'm biased because I think mid toned pink is just pink and the variety comes in the deeper shades with more blue purple end Vs more red orange end of pink.
I'm soooo tempted by this palette! I don't have any PMG eye shadow, and this actually looks like something I would use I'm a sucker for a taupey plum, and I'd love to try an Astral shade! 😅

the blue shade in the PMG palette is so pretty! but it looks so different in the pan vs on the tutorials. Applied it makes me think of the lumi shade in CP's blue moon palette? but on the pan it looks more opaque and kinda purple/silver-y. very intriguing!

So pretty! I just did a pink/blue palette. Haven’t posted it yet though. But your look is great inspiration for when I use it! I will say, I think Reserve #4 was a MUCH closer color to the PMG one - not how it looked in the pan though, but it had the strong purple the PMG has. Another one I’m wondering about (don’t have the palette and didn’t look it up just now), but wondering if the shade from Annette’s Giant Wolves palette is a close dupe! Gonna have to look up swatches of that palette after this to see if I’m losing my mind and it’s not even close… 😂
