Mienshao sort of has a niche with its move pool, Inner Focus and the newly acquired Ice Spinner imo. Downside is figuring out the 4 moves you want on it.

I thought the same thing, then I remembered it's non-exsistant bulk :(
Its stats mean it should be used offensively but its so frail that it will die to any move, even a neutral spread move. It doesnt even need to be supereffective, it will still die. So the best case scenario is it goes 1 for 1, worst case theres a faster mon and it dies without doing anything. For an offensive mon that is simply not acceptable sadly.
The idea of 135 sp.atk with a base 140 stab move not being strong enough turn 1 just sounds crazy to me. (also earth power cz ground is always a good offensive coverage to have)
I think Teal Mask Ogerpon could be scary offensively.
Speed + damage boost when tera'd and with defiant, with support it could be a good sweeper.
Although only grass stab and reliant on stat drops. Ivy cudgel is Hella strong, especially with tera.

ogerpon gets follow me so I'm actually expecting supportive ogerpon sets to be really solid as it has some decent bulk and surprisingly good move pool

Bro there ain't no way you threw Meinshao, Trevenant, Infernape, and Mandibuzz straight into the shit tier with zero consideration. All of those mons have important niches to fill that no other mon can achieve

I thought the same, great tier list though.
Inner focus, fast fake out, close combat, wide guard, quick guard makes it a solid support option with burst options as well

Exactly my thoughts. Guy just likes his meta Pokémon and other than that he cares less.
I KNEW other people would consider Ninetales in here as an alternative to Torkoal. And in this Meta they have important upsides and downsides over one another.
Torkoal can devastate teams with Eruption and thanks to it being the slowest weather setter, it's sun is likely to stay.
Kanto Ninetales on the other hand, is *slightly* bulkier on the special side, and has a pretty good supportive movepool with Will O Wisp, Safeguard, Encore, Imprison and the newly obtained Baton Pass. And it's 100 base speed allows it to actually get something going before being outsped by something else.
Ruin and Paradox abilities are immune to ability changes anyway so weezing is just getting kicked while down

Trevant or any harvest mon i feel like can have a niche if they were to reintroduce rowap and jacobba berries. Chip damaging moves not normaly chipped feels like it has alot of potential. Its just that it is inconsistent without sun lol.

Galarian Wheezing nullifies abilities of ruinous pokemon. With all due respect... the chien-pao and physical attacker leads or chi-yu + flutter man will end with him. Someone doesn't understand today's meta.
Ogerpon hearthflame sounds kinda strong as when it teras it has a tera stab boosted plus one 100 base power move with 100 accuracy and high crit chance. Although pretty sure all of them would be at least ok due to ivy cudgel being so strong and good enough stats.
My gut tells me Cornerstone has mad potential. Non missing stone edge speaks for itself
blood moon ursaluna isnt as bulky as regular ursaluna for sure and doesnt hit as hard 135 sp attk vs 140 attk..
however...
1) it doesnt care about intimidate
2) it doesnt care about status... doesnt get a boost like regular ursaluna but it doesnt mind a burn cuz its a special attacker..
3) being able to hit ghost with normal and fighting moves is a huge + since it could hit gholdengo with super effective fighting moves...
4) not having to run flame orb frees up the item slot... cant run specs but life orb works good, recovery berries, weakness policy, AV, clear amulet etc etc etc...
5) speaking of life orb im praying that it gets sheer force as its secondary or hidden ability the movepool is lacking tho
the best set would probably be.. life orb earth power, blood moon, moon blast, calm mind.. assault vest and swap clam mind for trail blaze or vacuum wave..
it also gets body press so it could potentially be a mixed attacker without investing into its attack stat 120 base defense is pretty good especially when you can hit ghost types with this...
bulky sweeper set 252 hp 252 special attack with curse, body press, blood moon, vacuum wave.... and hold leftovers.. this more gimmicky but could potentially work
Roaring moon got both knock off and scale shot it may be viable again, also alomomola basically has a perfect moveset now with wish protect flip turn scald to be annoying asf

Dude infernape, ambipom, gliscor and then mienshaow straight the D tier. I was shocked. I mainly have a singles competitive history but I’ve played VGC the past few years so I kinda get it but still I feel like all these could be at least C tier. Either way just opinions, love your content Ray, keep up the great work!

I don’t think anyone understands how badly I wish dipplin had better stats I really like it and I wish at least it had higher stats than the other apples and more damage or bulk, I was so disappointed when I saw it’s stats
