Honestly they should just never show replays mid-game, there's an analyst segment after the game for that purpose. Or maybe the casters can spend a few minutes after the game going through some highlights before passing it off to the analysts for a closer look.
just gonna say the only way they could do replays in league without fucking up the viewing of the rest of the game is a picture in picture type of deal so both play at once. like the game is live from start to finish. there is no downtime. its not like football where every play the casters have a couple mins to maybe show a replay or something without blocking the actual game. in league its just impossible to do that unless you show all your replays either picture in picture or after the game.
Why do we need to see a solokill again when we've just watched it?
@@Linesweeper Have you ever watched any sport? You watch replays to appreciate cool things you might have missed. This is useful in any sport, but specially for LOL where so many things happen at the same time, replays are a valuable tool for viewers in the stadium or in streaming platforms where you cannot rewind.
That said, of course I get Dom's point. Excessive use makes us miss important parts of the game. It's all about having good judgment for when to play them.

@@TheSquirrelbeast the difference is in most sports the replay of a dunk isn't 30 seconds long, it's 3-5. Long replays are generally only used while the game is paused. Have you ever watched sports? How often do you miss a goal because you're still in last goals replay?
Could also just have competent spectators that cancel a replay if something significant happens

i think replays take away so much from the game, they literally replay the leadup AND the fight, i think they should just chill replaying the entire fight and instead just the nice moments, like why are we watching the entire team walk down river and then start the engage
