    Hey Chris, i was wondering. How often do canaries moult?
    Do they moult in the autumn/winter months time like grassparakeets do?
    And when do the baby canaries moult? Right after their born, and when is the next time?

    Hi Chris, I love all your videos. They are so helpful. How can I tell if my hen bird, a green back is "split to blue"? I was able to buy 2 males a week ago, and my blue Gouldian is a stunning bird.

    • @birdnerd
      @birdnerd  Před 3 lety +3

      Really the only way to tell is to pair them with a blue back and if they produce any blue back chicks then you know that your hen is split to blue back

      Give them scrambled eggs mixed with egg shells and carrots. Or scramble eggs with shells is fine. Don’t disturb their nest and don’t make loud noises especially if the eggs hatch!
