He was absolutely right. It amazes me how clear he could see everything. He kinda lost his track in the way, but I'm really happy he put everything together at the end of the day. Great musician, great person. I'm proud.

John Mayer needs to bring the Trio back. Period. That's where his roots are, and quite frankly, he strives most at that area. There are enough pop musicians out there, but no blues guitarist this young today.
I remember my sister blasting his first record through our house when I was 6 years old and I grew up hearing him and I LOVE him. Not just his music but his personality. I hope to meet him one day and sing a song with him :)

Battle studies : Everydays love problem in an album that you could hum. Born and raised : He could play 'pop-country' w/ brilliant sensitive written songs.
I don't wanna assume, but I think, if you notice what he's been doing all his life is; 1st album: Pop = popularity, attention, grammys, therefore, opportunity etc. Heavier Things = still pop, but deeper, by that a lot of people already know him really well, now he's still dragging people along to bring em to blues
I'm only halfway through this vid & all the fans but one or two have been teenage girls (or at the very least, very young women!). I have to say I'm a bit envious of such a magnificent innate "attractability"! The dude's a chick magnet!!
