This definitely makes me miss volleyball! We were the overall bbc champs in 8th grade!
Their biggest downfall is lack of effort and communication. So many balls dropped without them even trying to move
@lkei yeah but gotta remember their in middle school so i can't be to mean but there were some times they all just stood around when they could've hit the ball but just didn't and looked at it
damn volleyball seems so fun, I'm gonna try out for it when I go to college next year.

Their pretty good, all I think they need to work on is 3 hits. That’s what we did in second grade but it can be different for schools.
I am in 8th grade this year just like these girls are and I have played volleyball since fourth grade and I hope to play volleyball as a freshman in high school next year and make the varsity team even though I’ve been on the B team all the time like since we started ANB teams in sixth grade I can’t believe that like I was playing seventh grade volleyball last year like at the beginning of my school year it seemed like I was I was still in seventh grade playing volleyball but now I am actually in eighth grade about to go in high school and my team has a tournament coming up on this Tuesday and it will be our last two days ever like play. I’ll be your last two games ever play with each other as a team that’s really sad and I and so next time after that we play volleyball will be in high school so that’s really scary but I’m super excited.
I’m starting volley ball in December and I’m doing league so watching volleyball makes me excited! And I practice a lot

Every time I finished a tournament my neck was so sore from looking up constantly
Kids this age aren't strong enough to use correct technique. They contact the ball any way they can to keep the ball in play. That creates bad habits which are difficult to change if a young player has hopes of playing at a competitive level in the future.
they are, i was able to get out of the habit one grade level below them, its not that hard, they just dont practice. You see people dream of being an amazing volleyball player, but do they really care about that, the answer is no. You can tell because i could easily get out of the habit by simply practicing my setting by setting strong people, and practicing serve reception. It is such an ez habit to get out of, though theyre selfish, thinking theyre the main character, so because of this they decide to practice when its time to practice, thinking they can be the best by just practicing every few days. I practice everyday for a few hours and im VERY harash on myself, this is what causes a winner, a winner knows that there is way more space to get better. So dont say that excuse, your just running away from reality.

They are 100% strog enough. Im an 8th grade guy volleyball player that plays club volleyball and sometimes when I see the girls playing they are sometimes even better than us. I think it might be cause its a school time. Not all school teams are like this but sometimes its the PE teacher coaching and its played kind of like it is in PE cause the coach doesn't know a ton about the game. At this age they should probably start to learn rotations and already be able to overhand serve.
I barely got into volleyball a few months ago but I love it so much i practice everyy time

What happened to 3 hits everytime, if my team didn't hit it at least 2 on our side I can't tell you how much running we would do and I'm also in 7th grade
Most of these girls only play and practice from August to October.
im in 6th grade and i just came to a new school and i have only been playing volleyball for 2 months and if we don’t do 3 touches at a game, when we get back to school we have to do like 3-4 laps of our whole gym…and our gym is huge. One time my coach threw a ball at my head when ge was like 2 inches away from me and the only thing i did was get the ball over on the 2nd touch and lemme tell you, that hurt like hell. my coaches are so strict lmao 😂😂

they probably don’t work on it much. i joined volleyball in 7th grade for 3 months and they don’t expect you to dive much at their age, especially if you’re new to volleyball.
I’m not being rude but I find that the girls only want the ball to go to the other team they hit it only twice one once most of the time if the would hit the ball the three time they could do more points

The two girls wearing solid yellow shirts are the line judges and they are 8th graders at Argos. Typically two players on 8th grade home team serve as line judges for the 7th grade game and two players on the 7th grade home team serve as line judges for the 8th grade game.

I have à question, I'm watching this cause, I'm starting to enjoy volleyball in P.E class. My question: Are divers supposed to stay in a specific zone? Cause I think number 22 from the tritons was a diver and she was staying in a certain spot so I was wondering. (I'm not trying to be rude, sorry if it seems like it, I'm just trying to get better at Volleyball positions)
hi so basically the position isnt called a diver its called a DS that stands for defensive specialist basic they only pass the ball and they arent a hitter and they DS’s have certain positions they have to stay in so they dont get in another persons way to yes you kind of stay in a certain zone because everyone has a different job
Either you may be talking about a D.S.(Defensive specialist) or a Lebero. DS’s are supposed to be passers, not spikers. They can double for a Lebero if they wanted to. Lebero’s dive after the ball a lot, and are only supposed to be in the back row. DS’s and Lebero’s can be on the same line up at once, but no two lebero’s can.

Good question.
A lot of my team mates, including me on occasion, chew gum during games. When I play I find it a little stressful and my throat always drys up making the experience even worse. I chew gum because it helps me focus and helps keep my throat dry, my team mates also chew it because it helps them with anxiety when playing.

I did answer sarcastically. They shouldn’t be allowed to chew gum. I see most coaches catch it and make them stop and if that doesn’t happen the refs catch it. My guess is the refs are not informed of the choking hazard. Why the coach would allow it is beyond me.

libero, (Italian: “free”) player on an indoor volleyball team who serves as a defensive specialist and is not allowed to serve or rotate to the front line. The libero wears a different colour jersey from the rest of the team and is thus easily recognizable.
