Spend as much time with them before it’s time to say goodbye so you don’t have any regrets. It’ll be lonely for a bit but I promise you’ll start remembering the good times soon enough. Nice frogs. I learned the concept of "day-light" fishing for frogs from my grandmother. She used a little red flag or piece of yarn to entice the frogs in. I graduated the idea to a small bare #12 or so ice fishing treble hook.A brown or black snap barrel-swivel with no leader. Light 4-6 pound line on a very soft rod and a Zebco 33 reel. Snag the hook on the edge of a lillypad or reasonable vegetation. "Jiggle" your rod tip to cause the snap-swivel to vibrate like a bug in the water. Frogs will come from 20-3- feet away. The small treble hook helps to prevent or hinder the frogs pulling the hook out of their mouth. Once hooked you have to keep the pressure on the hook or the frog may get away. I like your trash bucket rig.
