TRICK TIP: Unicorn Stomp To Drop-In
Vložit
- čas přidán 27. 09. 2022
- Dad’s reflexes were on point today! What’s wild about skating is that you can skate at one spot, maybe even bigger features and then have a full mental block at another spot with smaller features. It’s becoming more and more clear to us that skateboarding is like golf, it’s a lifetime sport and some days everything clicks for you and other days you’re lost.
Her ability to overcome her fear on this smaller feature was very admirable. Let alone it being super hot out, she was determined to drop this. At one point we had to take a break, sit down, have some water, and just reset. That’s when she came back with more confidence to stomp this down and ride it out! - Sport
“Thanks daddy” 🥺

The girls confidence and trust in her dad is priceless
That shows how amazing of a dad he is
To be fair, he caught her how many times? You'd trust your dad too if he helped you get into heavy sports and saved you from wipeouts frequently
@@KingAce595I think so too. That is if he was there. Lots of ppl myself included did not have a supportive dad like this.
There are no words for how priceless it is to have a father who inspires his little girl to see her stomps shake the ground. Dads like that raise confident, awesome women.
Parents like that. Because in general and I am assuming the mom is behind the camera and dad is in front
What having 2 good parents does for a kid
@@Maura237 Mhm, they're both doing great eith etching her. We see it mostly from the dad's perspective cause he's the one running the channel
@@greilthelegendaryhero252yup both parents here supporting their kid
@@Maura237 I've mostly watched their snowboarding videos, which seems more dad's video and coaching, but mom is also heard with her cheering and occasional instruction.
These are the type of parents that DESERVE a child. Their patience, how much they support her and gas her up, the way they are both there for her to catch and compliment her, my god I wish every parent could be like this.
Welp mine couldnt
I agree 100%
Yeah sucks when parents don’t believe in their kid but then I remind myself that they were once a kid too and prolly wasn’t taught either.
Yes!!!
Agreed!
Hearing the mommy cheering on her little baby skateboarding is actually bringing tears to my eyes. When you love someone, their passion becomes your passion. And the dad had her back EVERY time she needed it and let her flourish every chance 😭♥️
thank you so much 💜💜🥰🥰
I don't know but I got irritated of the lady's pressured vocals. Kid could do faster in some less noise.
@@user-gi4yx3wk8k there's always gotta be a negative Nancy in the room 🙄😒

Same here, especially my stepfather. I still believe I can't do anything and I'm almost 30.

And the fact she has both parents (I'm assuming both are), giving her their full attention and mot losing their minds when she doesn't quite get it and celebrate when she does 😭 she is gonna grow up so well in tune with herself and so well rounded. Love this
🥰🥰
Sorry to say but she’s gonna grow up to crack her head because she didn’t stomp. Knew she would be caught if she didn’t.
Bad joke but you normally do have to learn dropping in by knowing what happens if you don’t commit
wow
good
true🎉
Bro his instinct levels📈📈📈
It's the way you never ever let her fall, and how she knows he won't.
A dad teaching his daughter to see that her stomps shake the ground is so wholesome and amazing, hes teaching her such confidence in herself. I love to see this. I wish every kid could be this loved ❤❤❤
I always wonder how I would’ve turned out if my parents were like this. Instead I had a dad who would insult me, like calling me ugly for example, and it really deteriorated my self esteem growing up. You guys are amazing parents 🥹 that girl is gonna grow up to be so strong
OMG that hurts our hearts to read. Hope you didn't listen to him and know today in your heart that you are beautiful!
Same 😔
Right???
Im rlly sorry
I'm like that too
My father calls me names everyday, he yells, threatens and belittles, specially if you end up crying
If you actually try to approach him, build any sort of friendship, he interprets that as you needing to be put on your place, bc how dare you even think you guys could be friends? The disrespect! As he likes to say "youre my daughter, so put yourself in a daughter's place" (wtvr that's supposed to mean)
He doesn't even know me
If no one remembers him its my birthday
He doesnt even bother to ask
And will not remember at all
He would never bother on disappearing on my toddler self on the freaking beach and leave me looking for him crying my ass out whenever I asked him to pls take me with him and teach me how to swim (he's a rlly great swimmer tho. That's why I wanted to learn from him. But instead, he would always swim far away until I couldn't even see him anymore)
On surprisingly too many occasions, other men had to step in and literally drag me out of the water bc I was drowning and my father was nowhere to be seen
I couldn't even tell him later no matter how scary it was bc he would punish me for it
I would just sit on the burning hot sun, holding my cry and wait until it was dark and he came back
Just thinking abt it gives me chills, bc anyone could've just taken me away
Just like that
And he wouldn't even notice in time
I'm forever grateful to those men and fathers who left their child for a second to help me out
Lol, in my toddler head, that was normal
I saw those men as some sort of kings of the sea who were always there to protect children or wtvr 🤦🏾♀️
That's how I saw it
I waited until I was 19, purposely for him to teach me how to ride a bike
I rlly wanted to learn, and all my teenage friends would make fun of me
The grl who lives on a island, surrounded by sea, but couldnt swim or even ride a bike
But yet I preferred to wait
Bc Idk, besides every time he "dumped" me somehow I still had this annoying thing for making excuses for him, blaming myself and pretending it didn't happen
I always craved spending any real dad daughter time with him and actually having him as a dad (you know, a caring one?) and I just have to live with the fact that I will always do
We're just strangers to each other
The only thing I will ever know from him is his screaming voice
My mom is no different
Most hurtful thing is how they wanted me to be a boy
Bought me all boy things, dressed me like a boy and made me feel this sort of guilt, disgust for my own body
And in such a long lasting way (when I hit puberty, specially not knowing anything about it, damn, the self hatred, the hiding, everything, it was just painful)
And when I was 5 and my brother was born
They managed to forget I was even there, growing up at the same house
These kind of videos are hurtful to watch for me but they're also a reminder of how I should and will be if I ever have a child
My child wont even step a foot on their house
Specially if they're a girl
No way!
My whole family can normalize my parents behaviour on me
But they'll never touch my children.
No matter how much they decide to shun and villanize me for my decision.
I'll fight and drop my whole family if necessary. No one will make my kids go through half of that
I was in your place too except it was both my parents. I was fat shamed by my mom and my dad told me to stop eating but I did it because I was hurting. He put my older sister first before me and I never got attention. I cussed my mom out months ago and left for almost two months because I told her off for never being here for me. So you’re not alone 🤞
Ahhhhhh her little "thanks dad" 😍😍🥺🥺 the best daddy daughter duo ever!
Awe thank you!
That was so sweet. I loved the thanks daddy. Precious!!!
Facts
Those are some great parents right there
These parents need to write a book called How to Raise An Olympian from Birth...
I’d buy it.
Laszlo polgar was a psychologist who wrote a book about raising his 3 daughters to become elite chess players. One of them, Judit, is the best female player ever
At this age, kids probably have no choice, and they go with what their parents love more, but after that, when they become around 15-16 years old, many of them lose their interest in this thing, but this's about being an olympian or whatever, but for the parents, they're doing a great job!
@@Spamlett i have heard about this. you really can invent genius if you allow a child to take on their interests early. I wish my parents had. I expressed extreme interest in physics at 6 years old and it wasn't until I was 21 that I was able to take advantage of that passion, it was like they just didn't care. I could be so much further ahead than I currently am.

I died at the “thanks dad” 😂😂
the way you guys are giving her confidence is awesome...so is your precious daughter
As a woman who had BEGGED her parents for a skateboard when I was little and was shot down every time because it "wasn't something for little girls" ... This warms my heart and makes me cry. I love this. I ended up building my own skateboard when I was in my early teens but was never able to take it to the local skate park because of the harassment that followed. I literally had a plank of wood with four wheels from my roller blades screwed into the sides. I had a blast riding it down the dirt road we lived on, even despite the many times I hit a rock and launched myself into the ditch.
What era was this? My little sister learnt to skateboard in the 90s and she was a girly girl. Likely learnt because she only had brothers and what else is there to do. But she loved it and reason why if I ever have a daughter I will teach her all the fun sports.
@@squeekyclean1644 I was raised in the 90's. I also had three older brothers and one younger brother, go figure. I was the most boyish tomboy you could ever imagine. But my parents were very strict and had very specific gender roles that we all had to adhere to. As an adult looking back at it, it definitely messed my siblings and I up. I definitely don't raise my children with that same mentality.
@Dawn Carman I spent a good couple years as a young teen covered in large scabs and abrasions lol. Even fractured my wrist once. None of that stopped me.
❤️ i hope now you can buy yourself a skateboard. Ironically you would've been way safer at the park with a board lol. Still you amaze me how you made the most out of it
@piiinkDeluxe When I started working at 15 the first thing I saved up for was a custom made skateboard! My parents couldn't tell me no, I bought it with money I had rightfully earned. It bothered them to no end lol. But I got several years out of my Blind board, I still have it and I've taught my kids to ride it as well. ❤
Omg she's so brave and talented. Love you cashy stay safe baby😘😘😘😘😍🤗❤❤❤❤ God bless you and your family

great way to explain it and she's doing a good job but you should also tell her to kind of lean into it too because she's got it but you can tell it looks like she's kind of manualing down the ramp a little bit still.

Such caring and encouraging parents ! Wow !! This girl is gonna be a champion in life :-)
What amazing supportive parents they are raising her right to be a strong girl and she's so sweet to say thank you to her dad this just hugged my heart honestly
This is good parenting! Give your children the skills and strength to know they can achieve whatever they want even when they feel afraid. You can push yourself and it is a good thing not always a bad thing. I’m happy to finally see comments on something like this not tearing apart parents for actually wanting to give their kids the chance to build confidence early on yes you will fall but you can get back up.
