- An edge of your seat match between Cyber Dragons and Drytons in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Raw power vs negation magic.
While Cyber Dragon is a fun deck that can compete with a lot of other decks in the game, the effects are not on par with Drytrons which are currently ranked in the top tier among players. That said, the circumstances made for a fun and interesting match.

Herald is way worse than Eldlich. I'd rather have 3 Eldlich's on the field than 1 Herald.
@@CornaOnTheCob I doesn't matter if at the end both of them overwhelm you until there's nothing to do but expect them to go full offensive when their defense is all set up.

My question is why are people on bad terms with herald and eldlich but not Tri brigade

Reasons I love cyber dragons the deck came out since GX era and it can still run with the big boys but like every deck all comes down to what u draw u drew the 1 card u need cyber E
Also that guy literally got Lightning Blast with that Pot of Prosperity, like damn as if the game wasnt favoring them enough
He got everything he needed exactly when he needed it. But at the end of the duel with the wild wild west style card draw showdown, he blinked. 😎
A proper back and forth duel, nice. Kudos for that Drytron player for not being a one trick phony, but in the end he overplayed. Could have just summon Nightingale with 4 materials.

@@League____ referring to Drytron player who only know to turbo the disco ball and scooped when their opponent actually able to deal with it. I like Drytorn archetype and engine and I think their own boss monster is a proper boss monster, but many only use it as disco ball turbo without plan B.
@@thejamesonthestreet I use drytron quite a bit as of recently, I made a deck myself where I go into herald of perfection and if I have the resources I also go for Drytron Meteonis Draconids. Second turn is usually just getting either Drytron Meteonis Quadrantids
or grinding a bit more for a turn 5 kill.
Anyway the point is, he played horribly so he might not have known it was lost. I'll usually not scoop unless they banish the Metonis Drytron because this is the only way to win with this deck (and zeus)
outstanding, i enjoy the nail biters, reminds me of old school yugioh and the grind game
I'm of the same mind. I prefer how yugioh was before but sometimes matches like this come up and it's just simple pure fun

As a Cyber Dragon player. I felt the set-pass brick also. Sadly, our lives depends on how much luck is on our side if you're having a terrible day (almost always)
I do think it would be nice to have cyber dark chimera and additional cards to help with the cyber dragon archetype

Great bait with the backrow when your hand bricked near the end; meta slaves don't know how bluffing works, lol.
I take pride in just having fun with cards and decks I like rather than meta chasing. Getting a win against one of the best decks in the game like this is just pure bliss lol.
A lot of people have forgotten the ways of old with backrow bluffs. Baiting out the Lightning Storm was crucial. That being said, I don't think I would have won with my Magent Warrior deck 😅

@@jevilundertale2860 the thing about the deck is that you make what you need. So the perfect combination is whatever it is you need in that turn. Typically though, having Infinity and Sieger on the field at the same time is my go-to. Infinity has 2 useful effects and sieger can buff any of your monsters if attacked

Indeed. I didn't want to over extend my hand though and rather set up for next turn. I haven't dueled against Drytrons until this duel, so was caught completely off guard by the combos it can pull off just from the grave and so little cards in hand. The negates and field building from that deck really is quite impressive
Was thinking the same but makes sense if you havent versed drytron before, rather build next turn instead of expecting something you're next turn

bro as a cyberdragon player drythons are very tough for me ever since I got into plat
There do be some hard counters to cybers in Plat. Herald of Ultimateness is very annoying to play around as it requires you to sacrifice cards sometimes like in the video. I had to overextend my play just to get it off the field ASAP. I'm sure you know the feeling

At 2:33, you would have already won the game. By sacrificing Cyber Dragon Infinity and Cyber Dragon for Sieger, then following up with Overload Fusion for Chimeratech Rampage Dragon, you can proceed to attack for the win. I'm here thinking, if you're going to eliminate a hard-to-make negate, you better make it worthwhile.
Do you do Cyberdark too? Combos with Cyberdark and Cybers is overwhelming.

Only punkasses use the ritual spell card of "Meteonis Drytron" to ritual summon any ritual monster, and non-punkasses use it to ritual summon a "Drytron Ritual Monster".

Yes I know. I was trying to play it safe and not ovetextend. First duel vs drytrons, didn't know how the deck worked till after the duel. Didn't know it can just do a comeback off nothing
in Turn 2, I think you can win with overload fusion + cyder dragon siege to summon chimera rampage drago but i kmow it's too risk for this move.
Yes, I played it safe by not doing it. Turned into big trouble, but I know how Drytrons work now so I'll take the risk next time

Why did he remove ultimate herald with his zeus?
He can only activate Heralds effect if he has fairy cards to discard in hand, he didn't have any.
Sieger can still activate his effect to defend against Zeus attack, and with no cards in hand, Sieger would swing over Zeus on my turn. So he chose to wipe the field to get rid of Sieger.
Unfortunately for him, heart of the cards came to my rescue with that trap card 😎

Wait after you summoned Seiger Turn 2 you also had overload fusion wasn't that game if you summoned Rampage then boost with Seiger for x3 4200dmg
Yes. I didn't do that because I wanted to play it safe and not overextend my hand. Didn't know how Drytrons worked the time. After this duel, I always go for the throat ASAP against them.
