As a Ygo Gx Zane fan, I honestly love seeing cyber dragon decks win games.
I breezed my way to platinum with a very similar cyber dragon deck, and I'm having such a blast. Awesome vid
And this right here was super nasty 16:17, the Predaplant into double Rampage with 3x attacks each. So satisfying to watch!!

Hey I just started playing cyber dragon as a newbie in MD. Although I know the basic combo starts with hertz and galaxy warrior, do you mind sharing some combos or tactics if you don't have either of these in hand? There are just unfortunate times when you don't even have emergency call in hand QQ

I started in neither of these duels with herz or galaxy warrior.
besides herz x3 and galaxy soldier x2
you also have core x3, cyber emergency x3 and maschine duplication x3 (+1 cyber dragon) as combo starters
alternatively any two effect monster are also enough to get anaconda verte.
with instant fusion you just need another 5star monster and you basically get a free baronne de fleur.
in conclusion half your deck can start a combo, if you dont draw anything, its just bad luck.
you might consider pot of prosperity, if you want to play a more constant version.

lol I did something similar to the last duel, I used a set impermanence and activated cards in that column, I play on console so it defaults to the middle one for when I want to play fast.

Probably first. This deck can go second because most builds of this deck I saw included alot of going second cards. First is better because you can possibly set up an omninegate.
And you definitely don't want to give first to your opponent since most meta decks want to go first.
cyber dragon is a typical turn two otk deck. especially my version, since i play power bond, limiter removal etc.
but you will have a hard time against lyrilusc and drytron, so cards like droll & lock bird, kaijus, lightning storm, maybe raigeki are mandatory to have at least a chance against them.
normally, going first you just can't set enough interruptions up for a follow up turn to otk unless you play for example a control version of cyber dragons with enough traps and pot of prosperity.

@@IdKForDahWin because of drytron I later added droll & lock bird into my deck. firstly, I played it x3, meanwhile i dropped it to x2 because I haven't seen too many drytron players recently but that card is kind of an insta win against drytron if they can't negate it.
for humorous reasons I highly recommend to watch the last video I uploaded ("THIS CARD WILL MAKE ANY DRYTRON PLAYER RAGE QUIT").

The Buster Lock is a nice combo, but not a necessary one in this deck. If my hand cards allow me to and I have to go first, I try to have Union Carrier and Rampage on the field and equip Rampage with Buster sending Electromagnetic Turtle into the GY. Optimally, I'll have Almiraj and/or Infinity on the field as well, but this requires a very good starting hand. So it is a very situational card-combo and especially only in the deck, in case I'm first because Cyber Dragon is a second turn deck. But moreover, Carrier allows my Rampage to also become lethal in some situations due to the 1000 Atk buff.

eldlich is not that big of a deal for cyber dragons. not that I like to play against it but I prefer it way over drytron/lyrilusc.

How consistent is this deck? Just wondering because I made the mistake of creating brick eyes instead of a better deck to climb.
cyber dragon is a turn two deck and since most decks want to start, this is an advantage for it in terms of consistency.
blue eyes is a pure fun deck, but cyber dragon is a rogue deck and has so the potential to beat any tier deck.
it doesn't have the same play strength as tribrigade, but has the great advantage of playing cards like megafleet and kaijus, which can easily get rid of many strong boss monsters.
you won't top any ycs with it, but you will be able to reach platinum 1 in the long run if you can play the deck, which is not particularly difficult.
So buster sword being an effect monster covers the type requirement? I'm worst than I thought.
it's more about being dark-type than just effect monster
Being good at yugioh is just figuring out which cards outside your archetype you can use to cheese your way to victory

1st match you won just because you had lightning storm to destroy skill drain. I don't know when they will ban that skill drain card.

As long as you run a few cards that can deal with the back row you should be fine. Plenty of monster effects and spells/traps can deal with skill drain. It’s just a matter of finding the right synergy with your deck.
Why didn't limiter removal double the attack of the seiger bosted infinity?
If you mean the first duel against eldlich, it actually did.
How do I outplay Time lords with cybers I had such a hard time with them since I got burned each battle then infinity observed a lord...
kaijus, infinite impermanence, forbidden droplet and especially cyber dragon infinity should be enough to get rid of timelords

that depends on your definition of "viable". you probably won't top any YCS with it, but you can get one or another victory with it. master duel lacks some dark cyberdragon support cards, but they exist in tcg, so my deck wouldn't be an optimal tcg deck. however, you can find the decklist in the video description.
Surprised you didn’t just Kaiju the sky striker match. Kaiju shuts off all their quick spells and you had easy lethal with that hand anyway
Playing Kaiju would very likely have resulted in a quicker win, that's true. At the time, I had little experience against Sky Striker and wanted to keep an option open to do something on the next turn. In any case, thank you for watching and commenting!
@@amigonts No problem, I like the deck although I might take out buster destruction. I keep drawing it in my opening hand and it isn't consistent to always have up on turn 1. Unsure yet though since it is strong if it can be done.

because of it's effect "While this card is equipped to a monster, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck."
