Great information, thanks. I wish washer fluid was that cheap over here. We would love to find some front wheel weights, they are rare over here. Most of the wheels weights we have are Bolens branded but we do have some of the white ones you had in front of you. We have found two different design of those weights, a design used by Bolens and a different design used by Cub Cadet. We also have some of the deeper ones with the large hole in the centre which looked like ones you showed pictures of. We always check the location of the axle bearings before adding weight and we are more comfortable adding weight to a Bolens that has the bearings close to the mount for the wheel as opposed to brands such as Wheelhorse where the bearing are more inboard and the loading on the axle is greater

Good points Joseph. I’ve had several sets of generic 50 lb weights like the white ones. I’ve seen some OEM FMC Bolens weights as well. Good points on the axles! 👍

@@BuildALotAcres Someone we know over here had some new FMC Bolens and Bolens wheel weight cast, we bought a set of each from him. I expect with the prices of metal it would be too expensive to make them now

Case, good score on the weights! Cast weights have gotten expensive! I have been lucky to find a few at our local scrap yard. The ones on my Kubota MX5100 were Farmall (International) rear weights milled and drilled to fit by my son in his shop class. I have 900lbs (ish) in the rears (Rim Guard) plus 280ish plates. It would be easier to add a second set since the OD wouldn't need machined down to nest inside the rim.

Yes sir. The big farm tractor weights are usually a lot cheaper per lb than garden tractor weights. Pretty cool that your son was able to mill them down.

Good day Case. To many tractors to list. Hehe.
But the 1970 JD140H3 has 50 lb each side, wheel weights. Yellow Plastic cover, cement inside, and are JD weights. 1976 MF12 has factory rear weights. Split weights, so two per side. 50 lbs per wheel I believe. Factory MF red. The MF7 rear tires are loaded with washer fluid. Only small tires so about 20lbs in each tire. My 1990 Ford YT16H tractor has 35 lb per side Sears cast iron weights, painted blue of course 👍🏻. And my 1982 Case 446 has Ford 3900 farm tractor front wheel weights that fit perfect on the rear Case 446 wheels. They are 75 lbs each wheel and are painted the power red Case colour.
    Have a good day Case.

Very cool Noel. I’ve seen quite a few of the Sears saucer/dinner plate type weights. I used to see a ton of guys on forums using combine front weights for Case Hi-Wheelers. The 75 lb Ford weights sound cool.

What a great informative video! Thank you so much. One thing as a bauer customer I am curious about is, what is the weight difference between the 3 and 5 amp hour batteries? Have you weighed them?

Thank you 🙏 I thought I had replied to this comment. I have not weighed them, but the weight difference is not that much

Can you paint the plastic wheel wheel weights?

I’ve never tried, but I’m sure you can. They make spray paint specifically for painting plastic. Just make sure the air temps are warm enough for it to cure right! 👍
