I got my car key and fob from Amazon for $30 (pair of two) that your website is selling for $150 (just one). I was able to get the key cut by a locksmith but need to program the fob and will find another way to do that since your website doesn't have the instructions.
We are usually very competitive. Got to be careful though because a lot of cars have different variants of the remote/ fob. One will be $20 while the other $120. If you don't see instructions for how to program it yourself that most likely means you need to have a locksmith or dealer program it for you 👍🏻

Yeah, we explain that in our video on car key types. We don't sell the keys because hardly anybody can program them. Most the time you're required to go to the dealer, so don't buy one online, because the dealer will require you to use theirs.

I have a mechanics scanner that is capable of reflashing & programing the car computers & many other options as well, but I am in a quandary right now with replacing a lost 4 Button Key/Immobilizer for my 2019 Subaru Outback. It is a "G" key blank. I can get those easily enough, & I can get it cut anyplace, but the "Programing" is where I get confused. My scanner can access the immobilizer in my car & does what it calls "Immobilizer Key Identification", where it reads the ID number of the keys and you can then add that key ot delete keys from the Immobilizer at the push of the button on the scanner. Is that the same thing as what the dealers screw you for hundreds of dollars and call it "Programing the Key"?😖 Seems like a simple question, but have not been able to find the answer to it anywhere yet>
That's a good point. Noted. Say your teenager has become a driver so you want to add another key)remote for them. Or you lost a key and you're making sure you have a backup, because key origination is VERY expensive.

You should be able to reprogram the lost one that was recovered, most vehicles will let you do this.

If it's not listed, we either don't carry the remote it can't do the programming. There are a few like that. Sorry about that.
