Wow, there's a lot goin' on in that basement! ha ha... Great video, great music. I like your clothing color palette too-very nice brown, white, and olive drab combo-and those slippers look super comfortable. But I must say that I harbor a deep resentment for Behringer company in general, and in particular for that footswitch you're using. I know it works for most people, but for me it was a terrible waste of time, effort, and money. To the point that I needed to special-order a replacement "chip" for the brains of the pedal, as they knowingly were selling devices with an outmoded chip, and just waiting for hapless customers to scour their help pages to try to fix the mess they're in. It was my greatest pleasure to throw it in the garbage when I acquired the SoftStep 2-you might want to try this amazing piece of gear. Anyway, you clearly have made the Behringer work perfectly, so good on ya! Having concluded my tirade, I would like to reiterate that this is a very cool video, and very special vibe to your music. And posted on Christmas Eve too... clearly not merely a mouse was stirring.

I've got a simelar set up 2 gitarrs, a bass guitar but with an edrum which is triggerin an drum plugin and an external midi keyboard which is connected to a second laptop with Reason and plugged in via 2nd interface back to the ableton laptop.
I didnt notice that the apc 40 is provides 2 FS connections, so i'm very thankful about your videos which very well explained for live looping Performance because i always run into trouble during rec/loop the drums but the FS will fix that issue.
Due the issue I found some very nice videos about the ableton looper which can be controlled via FS too. I think tash sultana use it for her drum sounds too so my idea is to midi map the 2nd FS to the looper for overdupping percussion and drums.

looks like a Korg Micro Korg to me and he put the beat repeat in Ableton on top :)
how are you recording the loops? with Looping, or with the tracks?

Doug this is amazing!!! Have a similar setup w the APC and 1010 but can't figure out how to set up the Behringer to loop the different tracks!! Did you use the 1010 and plug it in to the APC or..? Any help would be so appreciated thanks!!
Vincent Nunez The 1010 is connected to my audio interface using midi. So midi out from the 1010 to midi in on the interface. From there I can custom map the 1010 in Ableton. Hope that helps!
@@DougHanson I grabbed a used FCB1010 this week with an EPROM.. And have had zerooo luck looking online at how to program it!. :(( Any ideas?? Thanks again Doug!
