FCB1010 & Ableton Looper - Equipment Setup

Last time I talked about getting the Behringer FCB1010 foot controller to work with Ableton Live to do things like turn effects on and off. Sadly, it doesn't work with the looper. So this time I look specifically at controlling the Ableton Looper.

I hate to admit that for years I've had a bad habit of finding tutorials on youtube, getting what I need, and then going about my business. But I needed to stop and thank you for this and the other FCB1010 to Ableton tutorial. Really great job, clear instruction, to the point, all while still being human and not robotic. Thanks so much. My FCB10 has been sitting on a shelf for 10 years. Time to get it down and dust it off. Always seems like such a black art voodoo thing. Sort of like folding a fitted sheet.

This... so much this! Such a great idea of a pedal so badly executed by Behringer. You have to reset the thing to give out unique CC notes and you need a NASA scientist to help guide you through the user interface. This really helped me czcams.com/video/3Wzk2BRaTM8/video.html

mannnn you practically saved my life - i used to work with soft step 2 , the fact that the expression pedal is working with pressur, you need to push hard and have 0 control over the amount it sends. this softstep downside pushed me to buy the fcb1010 , I was overwhelmed when I watched your video for the first time but after 2 days I managed to setup everything i needed thanks to you . god bless you mate

FYI, there is 3rd party software called iFCB that lets you upload and download your FCB1010 settings to computer for way easier editing. Works like a charm!

very nice playing as well as a great looper tutorial. I also picked up from another video, to put a limiter after the looper, just in case you end up with some crazy effects or too much volume on that looper channel, might save your speakers. Cheers!

could you do one on setting up the expresion pedals?
i managed to map them but it seems they only send out hal the range From cc 64 to cc 127 .
I found a mod on the net how to come around this problem by modding the plastic strip under the pedal,
But is there a way to Getting full range (0/127 cc) to work with the pedals without modding them?
