Welcome to Australian kids' tv in the 80s & 90s (before the politically correct fun police took control). Agro was a 'Must Watch' for adults & kids alike. This is proper Aussie humour. 😊
I used to love Agro after school in the 90s. Plus all those weird shows the ABC pumped out before they went full political. 90s Aussie TV was so weird and wonderful for Aussie kids, literally nothing was off limits but some shows were so lovely.

For fucks sake, give up that "before political correct fun police" bullshit - times have changed, for the better. This was never broadcast, it was just made for the internal channel 7 christmas party.

Yes it was a kid's TV show in the 1990s but it was pre-recorded so you're mostly seeing outtakes which didn't make it to air. There are compilations of these and the puppeteer and creator of Agro, Jamie Dunn, did a modern adults-only version too. Despite all the innuendo and Ann-Maree's reactions, in later years they confirmed that they had a very good working relationship and it was all part of the show.
My missus used to take her kids to the live recording and he wasn't any different when the kids were there

I grew up watching this & I got into trouble so much for repeating Agro. Was the best show cartoon connections “you wake up every morning “ the jingle is so funny
He still pops up every now and then, but back in the 80's he had a show called "Agro's Cartoon Connection". So it was in fact for kids.
Agro is why so many of my generation have the sense of humor that we do lol
Kabir, around that time we also had The Comedy Company, then Fast Forward. Both featured various comedy skits, absolutely hilarious! Loved Agro too. So glad we can still watch these shows on CZcams 😅
My children grew up on this show lol. This is the out-takes that didn't make it on the live show thankfully, though there were plenty of inappropriate mpments and the guy who did Agro was a reprobate in truth but damn it was funny as hell. Many jokes that went over the kids heads that made it more fun for the adults to tune in too 😂

Agro hosted a children's program and the line between acceptable and not acceptable was sooooo fine .... that's why the outtakes are are such classic gold !!!

It was on in the afternoon for kids. They moved Agro to Saturday night, the kids still stayed up.
This was my favourite show every morning before school in the 90s

Yes it was a kids show, these unaired outtakes made it onto a VHS tape and were given to staff at the 1993 channel 7 Christmas party. Wasn't long before pirate copies spread through the country like wildfire. My mum's friend obtained a copy and played it at a BBQ the following year.
This was a kids show Agro's Cartoon Connection and it was freaking awesome. There are multiple outtake videos - like this one that are labelled adult only. For good reason. Jamie Dunn (guy under table) has a real twisted sense of humour, it's awesome.
Another Aussie 80's show to check out is Shirls neighbourhood. Claude the crow is like agro, very naughty and funny

But there was definitely an adult version to and the kid version was not as filthy
As previously mentioned these are mostly outtakes, but they are actually more than that, these were collections of "Goofs" or called "Goof Tapes" put together by TV channel staff for "Christmas Parties" at the end of the year. That is why in one part she says "if this ends up on the Christmas tape I won't be happy...". There were collections put together by various channels (7, 9, 10, ABC) and was shared amongst the staff etc. I obtained a bootleg copy of a copy of a copy on VHS from someone who worked at a local TV station which was a collection from 1988-1992 from mainly Brisbane, Queensland TV stations.
Also you forgot to include (SBS) as well too of course.
Very glad to hear that you love Agro's brand of humour. I watched another reactor on CZcams doing this video clip. The one joke he could not get or understand was the Bungy jumping one. Maybe it was because he was an American and the joke was too deep and not literal enough for him to get the punchline or maybe seeing-eye dogs are a rarity in America.

Yes this was indeed childrens tv. Obviously this was all bloopers and test runs before going to air. But even in the show there was a LOT for adults.
I don't know how many days my kids were late for school because they were engrossed watching Agro 😅

Agro was awesome, i was 18 when the show started. Absolutely hilarous. Dont forget about crikey the clown who was also on the show, embarrassing people on their way to work and other funny stuff. I loved the crikey theme song. If your in the mall you better run when they call his name, its crikey

This was a kids show. Aggro was on a few different shows. Wombat, which was a kids afternoon program, and a few others. The voice is Jaimie Dunn, He's had a long radio career, both as himself and the Aggro Persona. Several of these clips were from the out-takes from the show.

Yep, aussie kids shows where it works for both kids AND adults. I used to laugh and laugh & thought my mum thought it was also hilariously, but now i realise why she was in stichers.

At the time (The 90's), my mother was working for Channel 7 (The studio where Agro was filmed!) and we went to see it live when I was like... I want to say four or five years old? Hooo boy. *Hooooo* boy, the things that never made it to air that I'm *still* only starting to understand now!

It was called Agro's Cartoon Connection and you had these guys intro-ing the show and in between the different cartoon shows, so yes it was a kids show after school hours. The swearing didnt make it on TV. They did get away with alot though.

Yes it was a kids show. "Agro's cartoon connection" which was studio content interspersed with cartoons. These are the the out takes however. What made it to air was mostly the same, but a bit more subtle, I'm very glad someone kept these. The man under that table with his hand up Agro's arse was Jamie Dunn. I don't think he ever did standup, but he's hilarious. This was the 1970's.
It was a kids show i took my 4 kids 2 a recording of agro at channel 9 studios in brisbane in the early 90s and my kids have turned out fine my 3 daughters r the best wives mothers sisters and friend's u could ever wish 4

It was a great morning kids tv show. Being gen x you had to get yourself to school and this show knew it which is why it got away with so much of agros' filth live to air because they knew our parents weren't home or asleep!

I loved Agro as a kid growing up, but most of these out takes never made it to air, especially the swearing. These were out take specials for adults only, but even funnier than the actual show and Anne-Marie was such a good sport. You're right, though, this would never make it to air these days, it's a shame but necessary, I think.
Oddly enough Americans don't get "why don't blind people don't bungee jump" joke maybe because their blind people may not have seeing eye dogs. You have them in the UK and we have them here too. No this could NOT be made today for too many self important would be offended. The show ran from 1994-1997
