- Decided to take a quick fishing day after working a night shift one day. I wanted to revisit a local lake that has amazing clarity. You can see straight down to the bottom. It paid off! The fishing were chomping. This lake has been known to produce some massive bags, but it can be challenging if you're not used to fishing super clear water. I was able to pull out quite a few bass. Ryder McGrath yeah man, last tournament was about a month ago, they were schooling up in the deeper waters. Guy won it with the chatter bait. I saw a few larger girls on the backside of the lake under the docks going in and out of the grass. Caught a few with the Texas rigged senko and wacky rig. (Black/blue and watermelon)
