  • This video is one of a series covering the rebuild of a 1975 Triumph Trident T150V engine. This video shows the crankshaft being given a final clean following the journals being polished at the engineers (they agreed that the crank journals didn't need a regrind, just a polish). Having spoken to the owner of the engine it was then decided to replace the main roller and ball bearings on the crankshaft, rather than re-use the originals, and I therefore removed the old Timing Side roller bearing from the crankshaft (with great difficulty!) and fitted a new one.

Ha!! I don't know what I was doing with that! (Lump hammer). I think I'd just done some DIY and got a bit confused. 😅😉😒
