Zhou Shen is amazing - his voice never cracked as a teen so stayed the same since he was young. He was bullied and criticized for the sound of his voice. He fought long and hard to get where he is today - he is very humble and funny. All his songs are amazing those in his own language are amazing. Hope you react to more of his songs he sings in many languages also.

He is Charlie Zhou Shen, an up rise Chinese singer. He graduated from Lviv National Musical Academy to study Bel canto in Ukraine. Charlie sang online since 17, got famous with sang 9 languages of ＂Let it go＂, he was bullied at childhood because his voice, so he choose to sing online to avoid the bullies. 2014 he joined the Voice of China that is his 1st time appeared to public. He sang 49 new songs in 2021，won many awards in China, In 2021 with Tencent Music Chart showed 40 of Charlie’s new songs got into the music chart, 30 of new songs got into top 10. Charlie’s songs got into the charts 214 times, into top10 - 80 times, 5 elements top 1 - 24 songs, 65 times. Number 1 song - 6 songs, 6 times. Zhou Shen is outstanding... I discovered him first through the show Our Song season 1 - kind of singing with legends where they are paired with an older more legendary Chinese singer... this is where I also discovered Xiao Zhan, Liu Yuning, Angela Zhang, Na Ying, Emil Chou... Welcome to Zhou Shen's family. FYI, all Zhou Shen's performances have not been autotuned whatsoever and he always sings with full open mic which not so many artists will do nowadays because of their abilities.
To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now worldwide.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is extremely good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Even with his high note, it will not hurt your ears, not like so many artists out there. Zhou Shen had a hard time to get where he is now. His voice didn't significantly change during puberty. Since he still sounded like a girl in middle school he was ridiculed by his classmates and they were calling him names. Because of the discrimination he experienced, he became more and more silent. He didn't sing on stage for three years in junior high school. Fortunately he regained confidence and was able to make his uniqueness his strength. He studied Bel Canto at the Ukrainian Conservatory of Music and today he is one of the most popular singers in China.
Zhou Shen plays the piano, guitar and clarinet. He can speak five foreign languages: English, Ukrainian, Russian, Italian and Polish and he sings in even more languages.

i think that is one thing no one can beat Zhou Shen. He able to sings at least 9 different languages. Most of those
languages can he speaks 98% like a native born.

The woman, Sa Ding Ding, is the original artist who sings the OST to "Ashes Of Love" which happens to be my favorite Chinese drama!!! And along with Charlie Zhou Shen, well come on now, amazing duet. sigh.... BTW you should see some of the incredible production of this drama. smh Hint: the lyrics are part of the drama plot. Sa Ding Ding was also given a Support Role on the drama and got her inspiration from the incredible plotline.

FYI It is said that Sa Ding Ding decided to duet with Charlie ZS because his voice was the most compatible with hers to do justice to this stunning song. BTW this is one of my faves.
Thay are Chinese, Sa Dingding wrote this song, Zhou Shen is a pop singer that just happens to be a Counter Tenner that loves to bring together classical and modern in to his music . He also adds a lot of Chinese opera in to his music. I just listened to an interview and I think they said that in the last 2 years he has added 48 new songs and they would have all been for movies, animation movies, vidio games, TV dramas & adds. Some times he will put out 2/3 songs a week, They said that one week he had 8 new songs. He is pretty much doing one movie after the other. He also does a lot of adds. And he can speak 9/10 different languages which he some times adds to his music, he learnt Cantonese on the program Our song so that he could sing the language of the person he was paired with...which they won...PS The butterfly is a hologram..

Welcome to the incredible world of Zhou (sounds like Joe) Shen. He is an amazing and famous Chinese singer. He can do everything. He speaks seven languages and does dozens of voices. His vocal power and agility is astounding. He is a natural contra tenor and can hit all those amazing high notes as well as singing in a deeper tenor/baritone. He is sometimes compared to Dimash but they are different types of singers although equally as talented. Zhou Shen was not formally trained like Dimash although he later studied at the Lviv Academy in Ukraine for Bel Canto. His voice is ethereal and sounds like a musical instrument. He sings all different genres and has some great duets. He is the king of Chinese film soundtracks. He is a great performer and brings emotion to his songs. He does not need to belt out the crazy notes for it to be a masterpiece. Check Da Yu/ Big Fish, Ring the Doorbell, Unravel, Da La Beng Ba, Baby/Dasvidanya, and Rose Boy duet with Gai and his duet with Tengri singing Da Yu/Heaven.
