- First A321neo for Transavia had a successful maiden flight today! The flight took off from the Airbus factory in Hamburg Finkenwerder (XFW) at 10:15UTC for a three hour long flight above north east Germany.

Nice! What puzzles me is the German registration of the aircraft! Does Transavia also have a hub in Germany?
Since this is a production test flight, the aircraft is currently still owned by Airbus. Therefore a temporary German test registration is applied for testing. The German registration is removed once the aircraft is delivered to Transavia. You can see the final registration on the nose wheel doors (PH-YHZ)

Yes! It's part of the flight test program on the first flight.

Brakes and spoilers. No usage of reverse thrust since the ram air turbine was deployed during the test flight

Livery looked better on Boeing. I've flown on both the Max and Neo. In my opinion, the Max was better. Wished they'd stayed with Boeing.
I think the 737 Max was a better choice. The A321neo is so uncomfortable…
The A321 fuselage is 17.8 cm wider compared to the 737. You gain more space!
