bruh this sounds WAY better than i thought it would
ofc it would
because it's just a 3:4 polyrhythm with extra steps
@@fortysevensfortysevens1744 yea ik but the soundpack he used for them makes it much better than just metronome sounds, it makes it sound like a song background
@@fortysevensfortysevens1744 3:4 polyrhythm but even more funky
I think it’s partly because you have the 6 and 12 providing backbeats of sorts but every time the 3 hits, the 6 and 12 hit as well because they’re all multiples of three. The 4 is the odd one out, providing that off beat
Polyrhythms can sound both so good and so bad. This is one of the best ones
Give me one that sounds "bad".

@@ButWhyMe... Only prime numbers. Listen to that and tell me it's not sonically uncomfortable.
@@brodiestephens419 Link please? I can't seem to find it.
@@brodiestephens419 3:5 and 5:7 sound cool
Oh god, it’s like one of those optical illusions using negative space where you can switch between seeing one of two images depending on what you pay attention to. (0:12)
• If you focus on the 3 count, the 6 and the 12 fall in line, and the 4 becomes flavour.
• If you focus on the 4 count, the 12 falls in line, and the 3 and 6 become flavour.
Also I noticed when I was trying to count along, I caught myself automatically/accidentally syncopating my count at first without even realizing it.
"Flavour"?
wtf does flavour mean
@@loqqshrom british/australian spelling of flavor
@@kibbiking9122 Okay, now what does that mean in this context.
This is when you have to pass the salt and pepper on a time limit.
Or do literally anything on a time limit

someone make music like this plzzz
Do it yourself, don't depend on others
IT'S A JK
@gamer roll I think his asking other people because he probably doesn’t know how to do it
Closest thing I can think of to polyrhythms is Meshuggah, specifically bleed
@@jamescoyne4559 TOOL. Specifically from Lateralus to Fear Inoculum. They use polyrhythms all over their music.
@@1tsam1r1cle3 oh absolutely. I love their stuff! Parabola has to be my favorite song on lateralus
This sounds like a good action piece for a video game
this is amazing, could you share the code? how did you add sound into manim?
Thanks for watching! By simply call add_sound method, see docs.manim.community/en/stable/reference/manim.scene.scene.Scene.html?highlight=add_sound#manim.scene.scene.Scene.add_sound
@@pccfs thanks so much!
@@pccfs wow
0:09 you just triggered the horde
who knew shapes could be so funky
Jsab did
@@OSCfanaticYep
hahahah this is so cool, didnt expect a whole song background
This is actually relatively easy to play with all 4 limbs. You could actually define the 12 as a 4, the 6 as a 2, the 4 as a 1 and the 3 as well a dotted 2.
Quadruple the signature and you’ve got 16,8,4, dotted 4s. Easy to play! You might count wrong though😂
nice visualization of how polyrhythms work
I bless the rains down in Africa
This is a beautiful beat. You should make a song with it.
I bless the rains down in Africa~~
If 3:4 is "pass the goddamn butter", this is "pass the goddamn butter" but with ✨style!✨
Reminds me of Africa by Toto.
Who knew 4 shapes could make a banger!
The gray one sounds like a very fast heartbeat
amazing beats!!!
And that's how you get reggaeton.
Sounds so melodic
Thx, #PCCFreeSpace
Woah! This sounds like a Indian band! Awesome dude!!
God it sounds SO much better when the sounds are clearly different and you can actually tell them apart, rather than just being a mess of too similar percussion
I think it's the selection of instruments, but this reminds me of "The song of the sebu" from Veggie tales.
Someone should make an app like this!
Love the multiple meter option !
Cool music 👍
This is a banger!
- What kind of music do you like?
- Is complicated
amaizing! >:D
This is fire 🔥🔥🔥
Sounds like a game's jungle biome ost ngl 😅
Sick beat
Man, that song bangs
My foot is tapping to the square while my fingers are tapping to the dodecagon, best rhythm yet!
The simultaneous 3 and 4 polyrythms is the beat I get whenever I decide to hit my hands against a surface like as if it were a drum
What a nice melody
Nice!!!!
GOD that is GROOVY
Satisfaction at another level
I felt that in my spine
AMAZING YASSER
This some tropical drum shit. I likey
Cool. Like it.
0:00 I swear I was about to go "There once was a ship that put to sea!...."
So it's basically a 3:4 polyrhythm but with extra beats
Yeah genius we had 0 idea about that
3:4:6:12 beat
@@realmrjangoon bad attitude
isn't this just 3:4 with some double sped polyrhythms
Not quite, because generally the 6: Polyrythm is felt in two parts, so like 1,2,3,1,2,3. That goes against the 3:4 rythm (to work as a double speed of that one it'd have to be 1,2,1,2,1,2) but doesn't fit the 4/4 rythm either.
And then the :12 rythm isn't just a speed up of :4 or :3, speed ups of :4 would be 8ths or 16ths
this is my jam
Best example of beat❤
This is oddly satisfying
Sick music
this isnt a polyrhythm, this is just a rhythm
Cool bro
This feels like a tropical island introduction
best vid ever
This sounds so well its has to be a alarm😭
YAY YOU LISYENED TO ME

Amazing

Only three would be a perfect start for sea shamty 😂

The tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room
This has a jungle vibe to it
the square is where the “poly” is at here
the best animated polyrhythm is already any Meshuggah live recording
6:4 is one of my favourite polyrhythms
it's a bop
me the whole video
🦟🦗🦟🦗🦟🦗🦟🦗
It’s like bossa nova in 3/4
0:40 disturbed - down with the sickness lol
I have been transported to the jungle
My dad might make a song using this
yooo this beat fire 🔥 🔥🔥

6 one is kinda reminding me from ice cream by black pink and everything together reminds me of an song from sia
0:09 giving me insane half-life oposing force vibes
Polyrhytym : **exist**
Ungas bungas people : that so🔥🔥
Tempted to make a song out of this...
And add 7 >:)
Toto - Africa starts playing
Add humming and it’s a ritual

I COME FROM A LAND DOWN UNDER
Factors of 12 unite!
Does anyone else want a one hour version or is that just me
This is what Danny Carey listened to in the womb
It sounds like a bunch of tribes dancing and drumming
wow
This is the first time that I I have a natural predilection towards the rhythm produced by the triangle and the square. Could someone tell me what it would be called and if there is music that inherently uses that rhythm?
If I try to produce a rhythm because I’m bored or whatever that will be the rhythm that I will tap to and that every little music I have tried to learn I end up getting tripped up by the fact that I try to go for basic things which end up like the square but I want to play like it was the triangle and the square together and I have to force myself not to. I don’t even know if that makes any sense.
Was expecting it to break into "Africa" by Toto.
Man 2x speed is fire 🔥
