I would like to make a suggestion if I can. If you draw your pattern on the paper side of freezer paper and cut it out, you can put it shiny side down on your fabric and iron it. It will stick to your fabric and then you can cut it out, then just peel the paper off the fabric. And you can use the same piece of paper over and over again.

From watching your video, I was able to sew my first dog dress in one evening! I found some cute pink Christmas fabrics. The skirt and bodice and two different fabrics. I added eyelet trim. I also made it reversible so the bodice and skirt fabric can be flipped.

I want to cut it out on the fold but I know she’s just trying to make 2 cuts of fabric at one time. I would probably cut the fashion fabric and line with a satin of some sort. Or maybe you could line with a fleece/ warm fabric and make a coat of sorts, depending on how you made the “skirt” portion

Please make more videos creating different styles, maybe dresses with more ruffles, how to double the ruffles with two different fabrics eg. using a net or lace. It would really help ❤️

I absolutely love this! I’m going to be starting up a dog clothing boutique and this has inspired so many ideas. I do have to ask though, wouldn’t it have been less work to just make a dog shirt and then attach the skirt to it instead of adding Velcro?
That is definitely an option. However, I find this style of bodice to be easier to put on your dog and less restrictive. I personally don’t care for clothing that I have to pull over my dogs head and then pull her arms through. Just my opinion. Thanks for watching!
