People... I just can't express what it means for us in Croatia that we are again among the 4 best teams in WC. It is not a walk in the park for us, this is HUGE! Players that were 3rd in 1998 (lost in semis to France) are still legends, and those from 2018 received half a million people welcome in Zagreb. This is for us already an incredible achievement! I am so glad to see how much support and love we receive from all over the world. These teams did so much for the promotion of our country. As it has been told many times before there are less than 4 million of us in Croatia and we have a team that can compete on this level. Truly mindblowing. I am glad that Morocco, a team from our group came to be in the semis also.
Another final France-Croatia soon. Only France can beat Croatia anyway xd

As a French, I can't support you directly, but I wouldn't really mind if you gain the cup this time, that would be well deserved. Really, to see France, a Maghreb country and a Balkans coutry in the semis, that means 75% chance of me being happy of the result, that's pretty good!

Argentina is good, but I believe we got them. Their midfield is no match for broz, kova and modric. No contest. And attackers are overdue to finally get some shots on target. They have messi with a mission, but overall, teamwise, they are miles behind brasil and behind croatia.

I will say this about Morocco. Their shapes in transition are just odd, and passes are angled just a little differently, and it is crazy effective against defenses that look to form up against, and reaction organize against "traditional" attacks. I think it is absolutely brilliant football! I would love to see it upset a giant like France!

As a French, as I much as I would love to see my country win a third world cup, I feel that if we are again the team to beat the underdog that was having a great run we would definitly become ultimate the villains of international football, so I wouldn't even be mad if we lose to Morocco or if Croatia take their revenge in the finals, and we see an underdog story. Croatia are simply unfazed by whatever the other team throw at them even if that team is Brazil...Technical ability at the max, football inteligence etc, Croatia without having much attacking plays against Brazil still boosted 48% of the possession playing around the Brazil press with ease, what a team they are.
our moroccan side has been sensational. i know parking the bus isnt entertaining but it got the job done and every team playing for their strength.
It takes immense skill to only concede a single goal (an own goal at that lol) in the entire tournament so far, and that against overwhelming favorites like Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. Morocco are a brick wall defensively, especially Bono. I can see them making it to the finals with a bit of luck. If they do, I hope they go on to win the whole thing.
As an Atletico supporter, Morocco are basically playing like Atletico in the 2013-2016 seasons.
I like to watch team with best defence more than best attack. Defence is an art not many teams can master. Morocco can counter attack too,they are fast and skilled.

If you acknowledge "luck" for Croatia, "acknowledge" it for others too. You put saves Livakovic made for us, but don't tjat Curtoius made for Belgium. Goalkeepers are part of game and quality of a team. It was Lukaku's quality to get into those positions and it was Lukaku's quality to miss it. There is no luck involved. By your definion of "luck" if anything we have been too unlucky in the past and I now when we have that you put this. We've always been tough nation to beat and it was always 50-50 against anyone we've faced. Even when we were out in groupstages we had a lot of these misses and what not. I consider this as a return for everything that we've been through.

@@theoldman144 As good as Morocco have played they looked extremely exhausted yesterday, and there were many cracks in their defence. France are more of a clinical side than Portugal and I can see them scoring a few goals. Also this Morocco side isn't well equipped from coming back from behind a goal. If France score first I can't see Morocco winning at all. I think also the same story will go for Croatia, they've played the most minutes out of all teams.

I'm totally heartbroken, Portugal had the greatest opportunity. Spain eliminated, Brazil, Germany, Uruguay. Portugal will never win a world cup and I have to come to terms with that. I know the pain as half Belgium/Dutch my life is full with football trauma's. Our golden generation won nothing. And My Dutch side lost 4 ( 3 men and 1 woman ) WC finals. So it can always be worse. It is very difficult for the smaller countries to win. Sweden/Hungary/Kroatia/Netherlands/Tjechoslovakia all failed in finals. And even big football nation like Spain and England only played 1 final. As an England fan, i feel all of that pain right now. This was the best England team in the last 40 years, will probably be the best we'll have in the next 40 years considering how the premier league just buys foreigners and relegate English players to bench warmers and shirt salesmen, and we still get a QF exit to a banged up half strength France. As long as nobody seriously believes Messi would have got a red if he had got a yellow for the hand ball. That's not how reality works. If he had got that yellow he would have made sure not to catch another. On top of that, it seems pretty clear to me that FIFA has instructed refs to avoid red cards at all times. That's why the easy double yellow for Morocco was such a surprise.

We had a MASIVE luck especially VS Belgium, somewhat VS Japan, but Id say we played good VS Brazil. Ofc, when putting things in context who do you play against.
While Brazil did had eleven shots on target Id say they had three chances, not including the goal itself.
And we, altrough not having a shot on target had one chance, Brozović over the post. And the goal itself. So, I honesly think that it was four - two in chances.
Ofc Brazil had much more some semi situations, potentially dangerous, we had if I recollect two situations, one was bad Perišić cross for Pašalić and another one, cant remember.
So, yea, they were better, they had twenty one shot, eleven on target, with four big chances. We had eleven shots, just one on target, and two big chances.
BUt we took ball on the other side, we had over 50 percent.
If you take we have three point eight million ppl, they have arround five million registred football players, Id say we did good. This is our third semifinal in twenty five years of competing, so, thats SEVEN world cups, yea, nothing to say more.
Dunno any other nation with this numbers coming even close, and Uruguay, the only winner of those nations aside the big ones won when football wasnt serious. If we look lets say from sixties, when this started to come into more modern stuff, yep, not many can say they did what we did.

To me the France-morocco game will finish with France win because Morocco's strength is their defence and it is precisely in this defence where we have seen in the last games a lot of injuries and players having to leave the field, like for example their captain. So yeah them having been in the tournament for so long will take a toll on their defence giving range the win I think.

Every team have been in the tournament for the sane length of the time. Toll is for everyone, isn't it. Teams like Croatia and Morocco go from strength to strength as they beat more odds and go far and are more motivated go further. Morocco unbeaten the whole tournament with a keeper who hasn't conceded a single goal, including in penalty shootout except for an own goal. How could anyone bet against such a side. I'd say it's going to be the most difficult match for the French yet in this tournament
@@moosaanwar7919 I will have to disagree with you. The hardest team I think that they will have faced in the tournament is already out, and that is England (imo of course). And Im not saying that every team is not washed out, they obviously get more tired as the tournament goes on. However I think that Morocco's lack of experience in these tournaments and them being like amateurs (in the sense that they haven't gotten this far before ever) makes them more perceptible for this tiredness. A lot of teams had in mind that they would reach this stages and have prepared their player physically, have strategies planned, etc. Meanwhile Morocco was playing to survive, they were giving it their all in every game, and that has some consequences by these stages of the tournament. Specially in a team like Morocco that relies so much on physicality. But that is just my opinion, obviously I could be wrong.

But I can see from their approach to these games, that they have belief in themselvesto win every match. They didn't get tired after winning against Belgium or Spain and got well deserved win against Portugal. But we all agree that France is the better team on paper and has so much experience, but so we're Belgium Spain and Portugal. Morocco is going to give their all to win this match. Croatia wasn’t lucky against Japan. What game were u watching? That should have been 4-0 in regular play, Japan is lucky it even went to overtime. How lucky can they be,they made it to the final in 2018 World Cup. At some point you have to stop saying lucky and acknowledge Croatia is a good team. Also Morocco was in Croatian group and made it to final 4 so surviving that group wasn’t easy as two teams from that group made it to final 4.

1) It's always better when a new country wins their first world cup, and Croatia and Morocco both don't have one. Morocco would be the first ever African country to do it too, this run of theirs wouod be the stuff of legend.
2) You would be passing us in World Cups and we don't want that. Plus, Messi deserves a world cup, don'tcha think?
3) Everyone on your team is cool, except Mbappe. Terrific player, but I just don't like him. Combined with the other reasons, this would just be the cherry on top: he already got a world cup too.

France has the most solid team but of course anything can happen. A France and Argentina final would be fantastic to watch. Two tight defence and counter attack teams in the final will make a boring final except for the fans of those two countries.

I’d love to see Argentina go through to the finals, but Croatia wiped the floor with them in 2018. Croatia is just so clinical and solid that I could see them holding off Argentina’s attacks and taking it in PKs.
To be fair, the Argentina that faced them in 2018 was very different than the one they have now. Plus Croatia no longer has the amazing Mandzukic in their midfield.
Still a very tough matchup, I can see Argentina losing perhaps, but I'd be surprised if it ends up 3-0 like last time.
