The guest speaker at the 2024 ThisNigeria Newspaper Annual Lecture and Gold Prize Awards, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and human rights activist Mike Ozekhome, delivered a lecture on "25 Years of Unbroken Democracy in Nigeria: The Prospects and Possibilities." The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who won the Gold Prize in Infrastructure and Exceptional Leadership at the event held at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre in Abuja on Thursday, June 27, 2024, responded to the guest speaker's statements, saying they were not entirely true, among other remarks.
