When I started out getting more professional about DIY detailing my cars, Chemical Guys helped me to get started. They even gave me some bottles of free stuff. But I agree, very confusing about all their products. I still have some "Mr. Pink" and glaze left. The guy (Greg) who I took two classes from now works for Masterson's Car Care in Anaheim, CA.

Honestly if you think about it, if it's formulated and rebranded citrus wash and gloss, it has stripping agents in it. Also, the polymers in the soap could be clogging whatever protection is on the car like waterless washes do if they aren't sio2 or rgo based.

If the water surface tension is not being broken after you rinse it, that means the soap is stripping, whatever sort of hydrophobic coating is on the paint. And it is not leaving its own hydrophobic coating. I’m not sure, you noticed this effect, how you can recommend that it will not strip waxes to any degree.

But it’s no secret this company is aware they have to continuously have to “ create “ a new product to keep their customers excited and engage in order for them to remain profitable and within the communities eye’s. How ever , I do agree having too many products could be a bit too much bc then this will question the quality of their products or just another lame product. I’m certain for every “ new “ product is really just a copy from a previous product they already offer with a “ slight change “ of profile. Remember guy’s, this is just marketing and a way for them to remain “ legit “.

OK a point or two.. Why do you (and other testers) always show product used on a SPARKLING CLEAN vehicle.. From my view all you are doing is spraying foam on an object and either watching it run off or spraying it off and then saying oh that makes "blah blah" foam... Doesn't really show if the product works or is just pretty...don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but lets see a REAL test on a dirty vehicle..
