    Very clear and simply explained on work process of cryogenic valves. Thank you sir

    Hello sir you are doing great 👍👍.
    Sir I am requesting to make a video on Switch Valve and purpose at its function.

    Please make video about RTR piping fitting and construction information. and concepts of OWS line. Live Manhole Isolation Philosophy. Please explain

    In case cryogenic fuild status is gas (not liquid) then can we keep stem in horizontal position (example:PSV Inlet and out let lines?

      In case of Cryogenic gas, we can keep valve in horizontal position.

      May I know the teqnical justification for horizontal stem in vapour service acceptable statement bcz normally low temp lines valve stem required in vertical position.
      2.sir in ur video u r telling there are vent pressure relief holes on wedge top(for bonnet venting)& bottom hole for wege seeting accumulated gas venting but as BS6364 design only one hole for venting of wedge side then why two vents req.

    is it possible for a cryogenic gate valve with vent hole to stop or fully block the fluid from the downstream side? will it be leaking when the valve is closed and the fluid come from the downstream side?

    • @gourisankarsamanta7670
      @gourisankarsamanta7670  Před 2 lety

      It is not possible to leak, because valve upstream and downstream is isolated by wedge.

    Can we convert a normal ball valve to cryogenic type by adding vent holes?

    • @gourisankarsamanta7670
      @gourisankarsamanta7670  Před 2 lety

      Any Cryogenic valve should have extended handwheel, otherwise due to cold Cryogenic liquid, ice will form on handwheel.

      @@gourisankarsamanta7670 but how do you vent the pressure present inside the stem once the valve is closed

    • @gourisankarsamanta7670
      @gourisankarsamanta7670  Před 2 lety

      @@thecros1076 vapour goes to upstream or downstream of pipeline, then vented thru' pipeline vent.
