The English dresses are so much cheaper than the American ones and are sometimes much better. This dress at £828 was a steal and she looked fabulous!
I must be an oddball because, if I absolutely love something, it's very hard for anyone to change my mind.

Not in this case , she’s brought up to be loving and respectful to her family whatever is wrong with that ? She chose the dress she wanted, a fitted , lace, Bardot sleeve, she just wanted affirmation. She has been brought up well, good luck her future nuptials.

Just for clarity - I was on a morning news show once for a curly hair makeover. First they brushed it out so I looked like a lunatic and then they fixed it to look like I actually style it....point is, TV lies.
The first one was by the far the best. One should follow one's own instincts and not be swayed by the opinions of others.
The lace on the first one was beautiful.
I preferred this first dress on her, but I think she will look fabulous in anything.
It makes me sad when a bride wants to entourage to love the dress they love. Obviously if it's unflattering, say so, but otherwise... did you need the entourage's approval before you accepted the proposal?
LOL. Unflattering is a matter of opinion. Some brides WANT these opinions, even if they clash with her own. Like here. She found the dress she loved the most AND what the entourage loved the most. Isn't that how it should be - the entourage helping her find the best dress?
@@catladyfromky4142 none of these dresses were unflattering on her. the point of the entourage is moral support. if the dress is unflattering to the bride then it should definitely be said. but if the bride loves a dress and the entourage talks her into not loving it anymore, then they're there for themselves and not the bride. this isn't the worst entourage i've seen, but it's not the kindest either. the bride should be the one to choose the dress, not the entourage.
First dress was fabulous and timeless on her. Wow!😁
Didn’t really like the second one…it wasn’t flattering her figure. The third dress was a bit of a combination of the 2 but it was a beautiful dress for a beautiful bride ^^

It was stunning on her. I would’ve cared less if it wasn’t white. Even the lace was beautiful on her. It wasn’t distracting or too much, in my opinion.
I don't know when the "entourage" trend started, but it is the worst thing to happen to brides. Trying to please a group of people. Absurd. This bride looked beautiful in everything.
IDK. It is a big purchase. I think lots of people want another opinion on an important and/or large purchase. And lots of brides want to "wow"their guests, so they bring practice guests (i.e. the entourage) to help them pick the "one".

The first dress was so much better. It flattered her figure beautifully and the back was so much nicer. But she let the opinion of her family and friends have too much weight. You could tell she adored that first dress much more than any other dress. She didn't look really happy with her choice. She looked like she was putting on a front for that last dress.
if she values their opinions more and makes her more assured then so be it, she clearly enjoys sharing the good stuff and wants everyone to be even more happy than her. A generous person that I wish her ever lasting happiness.
Umm maybe or maybe her family helped her see clearly that the first was too heavy for a beach wedding, the final choice was lovely on her , she’s got a loving family and that’s all that matters, it’s just a dress , family and respect comes first.
They are nuts. First bride looks magnificent in that outfit. She will look great in everything.

good lord, this isn't rocket science. all over lace was too much, stark white bald skirt was too little. FIND SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE. also not everything off-the-shoulder is a bardot neckline, feels like she just learned a new word and is overusing it.
This is why I would go by myself or with 1-2 people at most who I know for sure would support me.
It makes me crazy that the bride insists on taking an entourage for their opinions. Just make up your own mind!
Why is the first question "what does your fiancé do" such apparent judgement.

i understand if youd want the person purchasing the dress (like parents or grandparents) to please be pleased with the purchase; but ultimately youre the one getting married and you usually only get married once! when youre in your old age youd want to look back on your wedding day and remember the beautiful day it was and how beautiful YOU felt and looked in your dress!! ❤

Personally, I went shopping for my wedding dress on my own. Fortunately that was very normal 45 years ago…it was the perfect dress for me, everyone loved my Gunnysacks dress, I found it at my friends 2nd hand store as a brand new dress for $21.00!

Ya know,, I Love watching these shows!! I picked my dress without anyone's unhappy opinions,, it's my dress and it's my Day, I appreciate they're ideas and help,, but if I love it, and I know that my spouse will live it, isn't that what's important? Maybe I'm just old fashioned after being married almost 40 yrs. I feel pleasing everyone would just be more stress on the wedding.
To you, yes. You did exactly what is best for you.
But some brides want to wow their guests too. Therefore, they need people who will be guests to help her pick it out.
You did what is best for you. In the end, you're going to be the only one looking at the photos. But sometimes other brides want to find a happy medium - a dress that they love and that their guests will be impressed. It is ok to feel that way, even if you don't.
