Stoner Car Care claims that the Invisible Glass Coating can provide 12 to 24 months of protection for your glass. It’s a formula that combines SiO2 and polysilazane.
*If you want to apply this on your backup camera lens, make sure it’s made of glass before using the Invisible Glass Ceramic Glass Coating on it.

Thanks Pan, looks like another excellent product from Stoner. They should offer a kit with the stripper as well. I wonder if another product like Ceri Glass or equivalent stripper could be used.
Hi Pan, just a suggestion when testing these types of coatings I think the best way to show results, it's inside the car and simulate rain or at least how the wipers work in conjunction with the coating, I once coated my windshield with a similar product and the water beading was amazing, but when using the wipers it would spread all the water around and create a small water film that would evaporate almost immediately, however during this process it was harder to see outside, which didn't make any sense at the end of the day.
Great video, Pan! It was a pleasure seeing you again at the creator summit and we appreciate you taking the time to review the Invisible Glass ceramic coating 🙌
It was nice meeting you guys too! Hope you are all doing well.
Darn, I didn't know about this, I live a few miles away.
I'm in England and I love stoner glass cleaner 👍
@@173customdetailing9 That's awesome to hear! Thanks for supporting us from across the pond 😁
@StonerCarCare is it safe to use invisible glass in the windshield fluid Reservoir as washer fluid?
We love Andy paying visit to the Chanel. And he’s getting a free wash 🧼 / summer treatments from Pan
😁👍🏻
Always a pleasure to see Super Star Andy an integral part of the show. He's so spoiled now with all the in depth detail work you have done on his car. I can't wait to try out the Invisible Glass Ceramic Glass Coating!
Thanks for watching Rivak!
Welcome back, Andy!! Looks like some great products as usual. I love when the windows match the hydrophobics of the paint.
👍🏻
I've been hoping and waiting for you to review this product. I use invisible glass on all of my glass, auto as well as in my home, and absolutely love it! From your demo, I have no doubt that this ceramic product will be equally as impressive. As always, a great and informative video, keeping us up to date and informed about new products.
Thank you Pan 🙂
Thanks Linda!
Hello Andy! Thank you, Pan, for showing how to use this. Can't wait for the updates. Have a wonderful weekend!
😁👍🏻
Our RAV Hybrid lives outside on the East Coast. I have decided and have been using Stoner invisible glass and then finish off with Stoner clean and repel . This combo works for us and held up very well on a 4400 km road trip to Ontario and back ( it rained a lot on the way back ). They make good products.
👍🏻
Thanks for the video Pan. I’ve been using Invisible Glass for a few years. I can’t wait to try this our.
👍🏻
Great video Pan, keep up the great content!
Thanks Peter!
Thanks for this Pan. I use invisible glass products and will likely give this coating a try when my Glaco is done. Really appreciate your videos you've introduced many new products to me and I've been a weekend warrior for almost 50 years lol yes I'm old. Keep up the great work and congrats on your well deserved success!
Thanks Colin! Soft99 Ultra Glaco is hard to beat in my opinion.

You are so welcome!
Pan I must say that is one KILLER coating, awesome hydrophobic properties. I highly suggest Gyeon Q2 View! First ceramic coating I applied and it was super easy, and works phenomenally! It did also teach me something. You CANNOT rush and cut corners when ceramic coating. The time I had put into coating my glass was well worth it, it came out fantastic
👍🏻
Another great video. Thanks Pan!
Thanks Chris!
Good looking package and the strip polish was really cool. I am looking forward to seeing how the windshield holds up as they typically do not last very long. Thank you for an informative video. Hopefully you and the family are doing well!
Thanks Neil! We’re doing well and hope you are having a great weekend!
Great video, Pan!

Thanks!
I knew that Mazda 5 first thing, always great to see Pan! And then Andy! I think you're both awesome! Stoner makes an awesome coating here, I like the glass stripper and the invisible glass also. Quick with great results
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done! It’s always great to have Andy. My brothers are the same with their cars.

Love it!!!! I hate tags on towels and my shirts!! Lol!! 🤩
Great video
Thanks Bob!
Can't wait to hear the long term on this. Esp in our canadian winters.
I might have to give this a try. I already use Stoners Invisible Glass and think it's a great glass cleaner and have been weighing options for coating the glass on my new truck - I put a bunch of miles on daily with lots of opportunities for bug guts...lol.
This is just the video I needed to see! Thanks Pan thanks Andy. Stoners is going to have another repeat customer. Dear Stoners please send Pan a box of towels without tags lol

You're an awesome brother Pan!
Thanks Ed! I try to be a good role model for him.
Let’s go Andy! 🙌🏻
😁
Appears to be a solid product so far.
So far so good.
Ive used soft99 glaco dx. Nearly 3 months later and the novelty of driving at over 40mph and not using the wipers still hasn't worn off. Its frankly hilarious. Most of the detailing i do to my own car is vanity based, but these coatings genuinely make driving in the rain much much safer
I agree. Once you have a glass coating on the windshield, you can't live without it.
Nice! I'll have to get me a kit for my car! Hello Andy Hello Pan, nice video!
Thanks Tamra!
Excited for you to be able to do real world durability with this product
😁
Hey Pan, big fan of the channel. I am looking to purchase a glass coating product for my F30 BMW. Which one do you think I should get for my windscreen? The glaco or the invisible glass? Also I would like to coat my side windows, mirrors and the rear glass. Which product would you recommed for these?
Pan is looking lean and mean!! Great video sir.
Thanks 👍
Hi Pan I just bought one of these off a local detailer and will be applying it to my vehicle. Can I follow the same instructions but polish the glass with my DA also? Will the windshield crack if it’s too cold with my DA?
Question just bought SPTA battery sprayer and bilt Hamber auto foam what dilution do you recommend?
Thanks for the detailed video. Going to apply this tomorrow, would you also put this on side/rear windows and sunroof glass, or just stick to windshield?
The windshield is the most important by far, but you can for sure coat all the exterior glass surfaces to make them hydrophobic and easier to clean.

Thanks for this review Pan, how would this compare to the Glaco soft coating? Thanks!
The Ultra Glaco is still better in my opinion. In fact in took first place for best glass coating in my popular annual car detailing products awards video here: czcams.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/video.htmlsi=jqXzW88cp0WeG0AX
Pan thanks for the video and all the details for application.
With that one kit how many windshields could you do maybe? I have more then one car I would like to do and since it only last 14 days. I want to use it up and do a few of my cars.
It depends on the size of the vehicle, and if you are coating only the windshield or all the exterior windows. But a few cars for sure.
That stuff worked great, love watching the video learn so much about detailing and products over the years. I would like to see u do a Jax Wax product review and see your thoughts on it.😁😁

Hello...thanks for the great video. How well does this product do against highlight glare and glare from traffic lights? Thank you.
I haven't heard any issues from the owners of the vehicles we applied this to so far. They are all pretty happy. Prep is key before applying any glass coating.
Great video Pan. I have some slight water spots on the side windows of my car. Should I buff those out with my polisher before using Invisible Glass ceramic coating?
You should absolutely remove those with a glass polish and glass pad. Watch my glass polishing tutorial: czcams.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/video.html
I bought this kit last week after watching this video, and am going to use it tomorrow.
What about wiper blades? Does anyone make a wipe on coating for them?
Thanks for all the great videos!
Most people just apply a bit of the same coating on the blades. When you’re done coating the glass, use that same damp applicator and apply a bit to the wiper blades. Wait a minute and buff with a towel.
Hi Pam,
I always wondered could we use these kits (compound) on the back and side mirrors/windows? Since they have those lines, tint and blind spot logos etc. will it damage anything? Thanks Pan! 5 year fan here going on 6!
You can use this on all the exterior glass. No problem.
Also, keep in mind the tint film is on the inside of the glass. Not outside. ;)
Hi Pan, which windshield washer would you suggest to help prolonged the glass ceramic coating? Here in montreal I use yellow rainx (-40) almost year long especially because you cannot mix it... But I feel sometimes the basic blue windshield washer is good too especially during the summer with bugs.
Stoner actually has a product perfect for maintenance that they recommend: bit.ly/3pPWv4M
another great video! do you think a slow speed mini polisher would work for stripping the glass? I like the "work smart, not hard" specially after learning my lesson. Just recovering from a shoulder replacement. It wasn't fun doing the prep and applying Adam's Advanced Graphene Coating. ouch!
You can use a polisher, glass pad and glass polish to polish glass, sure. See my tutorial here: czcams.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/video.html
Great video Pan. Have you had issues with wiper skipping because of this product?
No issues on wipers skipping. Also, I will have a 5 month update coming later this month. Stay tuned!
Great Video, Did my wife truck and she loves it. Mine is next. Love how in depth you get with how to apply and the chemistry as well. How much should above avg. DIY detailer charge for just the windshield for this process. I live near Detroit MIchigan. Thanks love your videos.
Thanks Dave. It's impossible to discuss prices online, as pricing depends on many factors including the location. A detail job in New York won't cost the same in Montreal, or Paris for example. Even within the same country/state, there are often differences from one city to another, one neighbourhood to another. Your best bet is to see what detailers near you charge for such a service, and adjust pricing from there.

How do you get rid of waterspot etching on glass. I bought another daily driver and idk how or what they did but I’ve used some CG water spot remover, clay bar and DA polisher and it looks much better but I can still see them at an angle.
It depends how bad the etching is. Just like paint. There is a point where if left unattended for long periods, baking in the hot sun, minerals eventually etch enough to cause permanent damage.
If water spot removers don't work, the next step is to use an actual glass polish (cerium based) with a true glass polishing pad (made from rayon). See my tutorial on glass polishing here: czcams.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/video.html
If that still doesn't work, you are at the point of needing the glass to be replaced unfortunately.
Awesome video and as always a great explanation! I just seriously doubt the "24 month" longevity... as we know they always slightly exaggerate a bit!

Durability, like for any protection, is estimated in perfect laboratory conditions. In real world conditions, many factors obviously influence durability: mileage, weather, conditions, maintenance, application, prep.
So I consider durability claims more as indicators of durability more than actual longevity. For example, I expect a 3 year ckating to last longer than a 1 year coating, but in my harsh Canadian weather, I doubt it will reach the claimed 3 years.
Another great video Pan. Will this product work for shower glass doors?
Yes
I just bought this kit, watched your install video, and would like to make one recommendation: after the power washing off the stripper, dry the vehicle's roof so you avoid water from running down onto the fresh coating.
This was just a quick demo to get to the point. Normally, you'd wash the car, rinse it, then do the glass stripper, rinse it, and fully dry the vehicle, and then apply the coating.
I live is hot and sunny Florida and I don't have a garage I can just leave my vehicle in for 24 hours. We never really know when it will rain so using this, ethod will be very tough for me. I used a clay bar and them waxed the windshield about a year ago and it still beads up and rolls off the windshield.
I have been using newspaper for cleaning my windows for over 25 years and never had an issue. I've tried microfiber and I just don't see the benefit when drying. What are your thoughts?
Ive had this on my windshield since last August, still holding strong.
Cool! Good to know. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Will have to try this… Hey Pan how do you like the bigboi blower?
See my comments about all my blowers here: czcams.com/video/4up2Atg4ks0/video.html
Great video, Pan! Your 5 Month Update video lead me here.
I do have a couple of questions, though.
1. You have only used one coat (understandable for a test/experiment) but you indicated two coats could be applied. You said to toss the applicator and towels after use because the coating forms crystals but how fast do those crystals form making the applicator and trowels unusable? If one decides to do two coats, can those be re-used for the second coat? Or are new/unused applicator and towels required?
2. If the wait time between coats is 2-4 hours and since the film (just after application) starts to form dependent on temperature and humidity, shorter times for higher temps and higher humidity, is it safe to assume the same thing effects the wait time between coats? If it's cooler and dryer, should one wait 4 hours instead of 2 hours for hotter and more humid? Or do those factors not really matter for the wait time? Is 2-4 hours just a fixed window where it's safe to reapply?
Things have changed SO MUCH since I stopped taking good care of my car 15 years ago. I've had to almost start from scratch to learn all the products and methods for good car care. You've helped a lot in that regard. Thank you for all the great (often detailed *thumbsup*) information!
1. You have time to apply the second coat and discsrd the towels afterwards.
2. It’s just a safe window to apply the second coat. Don’t overthink the moment here.
Thanks for the kind words about my videos!

if it were any other company, I would probably not have any interest... but it's Stoner and I've been using their glass cleaners for over 20 years...... sure hope the coating stands up to weather and wiper use after several month like they claim! (seriously doubt that it can possibly go beyond one year, but who knows)
Hi pan.. what liquid recommand for seleant? I need a ultra shine and protetion paint. However the turtle wax is not available in Portugal... do you recomend other product?
You're in luck. I made a video about the best liquid waxes and sealants here: czcams.com/video/yuHqg-AbtdI/video.html
Interesting video PAN, I was wondering about a couple things, Firstly what benefits does this product offer over my standard window application of Adams Graphene ceramic coating? Secondly, what kind of film does it leave on the glass so in the rain at night the wipers create a film thats difficult to see through?
I prefer dedicated glass coatings on glass. They tend to perform better and last longer. I never had issues with coatings creating films on the glass.
A grest trick to have a crystal clear windshield is to degrease the interior of the windshield following tips in my popular tutorial here: czcams.com/video/3rF6keJ88Y8/video.html
Hi there, if you have a wax and a ceramic detailer, which product should you use for the best protection, i umderstand that wax and ceramic coats dont mix well but how about was and the aforesaid detailer?
You have to strip any old protection off the windshield first, before applying any glass coating. Hence the glass stripper step shown in the video.
You need to ensure a proper bond of the coating to the glass surface.
I've used their glass stripper and follow up with their glass cleaner. I use Turtle Wax's graphene infused detail mist as the final step. I took the vette on a 350 mile drive yesterday and while the novistretch bra protected the bumper, the TW protected the windshield. Got home and just using a dry MF towel easily wiped the bug residue off. I will however give Stoners product a try for the longer lasting protection. I see your brother still likes sitting back and watching you do all the work.......lol
Hehe he loves that zero effort detailing! 😂
Thanks for the video!
If I use this kit to coat all of the windows on my car, or if I try to do two cars back-to-back, am I going to need to throw away the microfibers and get new ones pretty frequently? or would I be able to use the same ones if I was doing all of it at roughly the same time?
Once you are done using the towels after the first application, you throw them away, unless you immediately do another windshield after the first one.
Hi, so I don't have heat for my front windshield and other coatings I've used in the pass has caused my glass to fog up more than when its not coated would this give me the same issue?
Coatings shouldn't make your windshield fog up if applied correctly. Make sure you prep the surface correctly before applying.
Also, fogging up usually comes from the interior windshield being greasy and grimy, even though it looks clean to the naked eye. See my simple tutorial on proper interior windshield degreasing to rid it from accumulated off-gassing from interior materials in this video: czcams.com/video/3rF6keJ88Y8/video.html
Great video, thanks - love the channel! Bought the kit which arrives tomorrow but have a question. Just did a maintenance wash, so, don't want to wash my car again this soon. If I use the glass polish that comes in the kit, I have to pressure wash it off, which will get residue all over my vehicle - a Tesla model 3 so lots of glass ( I really want to add the hydrophobics to all the glass surfaces to make maintenance washes even easier as I use a blower to remove most of the water and the car is ceramic coated). I really don't want to have to wash my car after rinsing off the polish from all my glass surfaces. Any reason using a clay bar for prep would be less effective than the Stoner polish? Less mess to clean up and then I can use the coating (or, am I missing it?). Thanks for all you share!
Don't cut corners, do it once, do it right. If you don't want to wash your car now, just wait until the next time you wash. Don't take the lazy way out.
A claybar is another step to remove embedded contamination in the glass, but the chemical decon done by the glass polish removes other impurities and contamination. Like an iron remover on paint (chemical decon) and clay bar (mechanical decon). You do both, not just one.
So wait until the next time you wash your car. Wash the car, rinse it, clay the glass, rinse and dry just the windshield (rest of the car can stay wet). Use the glass polish, rinse, and then dry all the car. And then apply the glass coating.
Thanks for the advice! @@PanTheOrganizer

Good evening, how do the wipers react with the coating? Love the content and delivery!
Thanks! No issues with wiper judder. Glass prep is key before application and make sure you clean your wiper blades. Same applies to all glass coatings.
Hey Pan! I noticed some chips in the glass when zoomed in. Did you notice if the coating helped hide those? I asked Adam's Polishes if I could use graphene coating on glass with chips and they recommended not to, as the coating would fill in the chips and make them more visible.
I noticed no difference
I'd love to see you do a Stoner vs Glaco and see which one does a better job.
Ultra Glaco wins hands down (hence why it took first place in my awards video). I’ll have a 5 month update video coming soon on the Stoner.
Very nice of you to do that for your brother
😁
Stoner has at Walmart where I live here in the States the glass cleaner kit. This is in a small box. The have a ceramic and glass cleaner in a spray bottle. I have thought about getting this for my back window because when it rains I can't see out of it. This might not be a good idea. But I have to do something so I can see out of my back window of my Camry. It's bad when there heavy rain. I use silicone windshield wipers for the front windshield. They help alot. It's like they coat the windshield with silicone particles or something to that nature. Anyways I like the way the windshield wipers work. I just wanted to let you know about the other product that Stoner has at Walmart. Also I'm going to buy the Walmart microfiber throw away towels they have at Walmart too. I don't want to use my good microfiber towels just to throw them away. These microfiber towels are good for that. Just clean the windshield with the ceramic and glass cleaner in the spray bottle and throw away that towel. I didn't know Stoner had a Professional line of glass Cleaner products. Thanks much for your video.
Thanks for watching!
Question: how long do you keep indoors after applying to cure?
Pan, can you ask your brother at what mph rain starts sheeting off during a rainstorm when he gets a chance? Hopefully under 40! I applied Meguiars Hybrid ceramic wax and it sheets off way slower than Rain X
For me it's usually above 40mph with this product
Hello Pan
What would you recommend to to clean and protect a panoramic sunroof?
The same products as for the windshield. See my video here: czcams.com/video/usdM-TrT7fg/video.html
Nice video! I think I will apply this to the exterior panoramic sunroof that extends the entire length of the vehicle… so much dust, dirt and bird droppings sit on top of the vehicle as I park on the street for extended periods of time.
Can this be done outside in the shade? Worried about windy dusty conditions.

Yes you can do this outside in the shade, on a cool surface. No problem. Don't worry about dust. Unless it's a dust storm hehe.
I think I have some really stubborn water spots that might be etched -- would it be okay to use the invisible glass stripper first followed by a glass polisher before applying the coating?
If you have intense etching or water spots on the glass, assuming it’s not too far gone, just go for a heavier cut cerium oxide glass polish and you can skip the Stoner glass stripper. See my glass polishing tutorial: czcams.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/video.htmlsi=f8S73wxu2oOO9Y2g
Is this glass coating available in the UK? Is there sufficient coating to be able to treat all of the glass in the car? I've applied Gyeon's ceramic glass coating to my car and at times I've had issues with smearing and wiper judder. The glass cleaner was quite difficult to apply and I used my nano polishers to take the hard work out of doing it.
It's not available in the UK as of right now to my knowledge. But you can get the best glass coating I have tested so far, this one: amzn.to/43bwVWZ
Even better, you can get it as a kit with the compound to prep the glass in a simple way: amzn.to/3OsNCZ8
You can see me apply the product in this video: czcams.com/video/usdM-TrT7fg/video.html
Bonjour Pan, est ce que tu utilises ce traitement pour les vitres de portes et celle a l'arrière ? Et en passant merci pour ton super travail !
Oui
Another informative video. I'm getting good results with Turtle Wax Slick Glass Mist. It would be interesting to see which product lasts the longest.
Thanks for sharing your experience Michael. In theory, the Invisible Glass, being a true glass coating in a glass bottle should last much longer compared to a misting spray.
@@PanTheOrganizer Merci
can this be applied outside under cool shade of course if you dont have and indoor space to do so ?
Yes as long as you work on a cool surface in the shade.
Hey Pan how does this compare to soft99 glaco? I see you mention glaco is better in the the 2023 awards but the stoner kit is also advertised as ceramic. Is the main difference the length it lasts? And with the glaco would you recommend buy a windows stripper to put on before use?
Ultra Glaco is my favourite DIY glass coating. It lasts twice as long as the Stoner in my long term testing. I have update videos on both.
And the Ultra Glaco took first place for best glass coating in my awards video here: czcams.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/video.htmlsi=FxiRbrHMiRMqAJsH
With Ultra Glaco I absolutely recommend that you buy their Roll On Compound to prep the glass.

Curious if you’re brother has any feedback on driving at night with the coating on the glass. I tend to shy away from any kind of coating on the front glass, as it almost always leads to glare and/or haloing around the lights of oncoming cars at night.
No issues so far.
Great video. Does it create any wiper skipping?
None so far.
Tried the ceramic glass coating today. The cleaner got rid of some water spots that I was unable to remove. I did let it dry perhaps a bit long, so my garden hose didn't really wash it off. I just used a drying towel to clean off all the residue. The sealant went on easily. I used the two towels included to wipe off excess and buff. Looks good so far. Question: instructions say to throw away the sealant applicator pad. What could I use in place of it?
Thanks for sharing your experience. You can use any other coating applicator that you might already have, or one like this: amzn.to/3WyG2OI
My experience too with the stripper - I didn't want to take the time to hook up my pressure washer, so I just used the garden hose and it didn't come off completely. I wiped it with a drying towel and then sprayed it again and all was good.
Question Pam do you have a video where you explains if you need to get certification to be a professional detailer?
No as it’s pretty straightforward. If you want to apply a brand’s professional grade coating, you need to become a certified installer for that brand.
For example, for CarPro. If you apply their consumer grade coating, CQuartz UK 3.0, no need to become certified, as everyone can buy it.
If you want to apply their professional grade coatings, like CQuartz Professional or CQuartz Finest Reserve, you need to be a professional detailer and go through their certification process. So you would reach out to them.
Great video! I was wondering if you were ever going to do a video about cleaning the textured bed lining on a pickup truck? And what products to use to keep it looking fresh? Just wondering?
I don’t really have customers with pickups, but if I do, I’ll make a video.
