      They keep reaching out to meet him, so he has to talk and not reply without verbal use. He even states in my favorite book by him, but not the most popular, Mind Is a Myth, that;
      "There is no particular charm in being antisocial. I don't give people what they want. When they realize they will not get what they want here, they invariably go away. As they are leaving
      for the last time I like to add the rider, "You won't get it anywhere."
      When people come to talk they find themselves confronted with silence itself. That is why everybody who comes is automatically silent thereafter. If he cannot stand the silence and insists upon talking and discussing things, he will be forced to disagree and walk out. But if you stay long, you will be silenced, not because it is over-persuasive, more rational than you are, but because it is silence itself silencing that movement there."
      When he says "This is not a talk! I never give talks!" He's explaining that he does not want to... he doesn't mean it when he says that literally. He's just replying to what people are asking him, but he also doesn't care for it

    Its really hard to believe anything that UG says really. He does not live what he preaches. What he talks of in these talks is quite different from what his companions have recorded from his daily life.
    1. He completely rejects mysticism but then explains to his friends how the mantras work. In one instance one of his religious friends are chanting mantras and UG closes his eyes and listens. He then describes to them how they stir up energy within him and could point at the exact moment where the chanting went a little off.
    2. He would even describe how some sages would take form in his conciousness and how even J.K came to visit him one night in that form.
    3. He would often describe how snakes would always want to be in his presence and he would take walks with them.
    4. Astrologers would read his hand and would call it the hand of a jivanmukta. A lot of other predictions were made about him throughout his life.
    5. He would often describe how different people and places with different vibes had a peculiar effect on him. In one instance, he could recognise if somebody had been in his room right after coming from another country.
    6. There are instances of him sitting in padmasana and swaying around in some sort of a trance.
    7. During full moon nights there would be various swellings on his body and his energy levels would change.
    8. During solar eclipse he would point out to his extreme urge to have sex. The news would then report how all animals in the zoo suddenly started making out on the eclipse day.
    9. He says looking at scenic views creates a pleasure movement. But at the same time he says while looking at a view in some place as so beautiful that he wanted to live there forever.
    10. He never talks about kundalini but then explains how an outburst of energy took place in his body and that it functions in a circular fashion clockwise and anticlockwise.
    11. Even after the calamity he visited the famous yogi Mr.Krishnamacharya to practice yoga asanas.
    He rejects all mysticism, scriptures, yoga and everything but he himself might have been the living embodiment of all that. He is quite enigmatic really.

      He would say its all natural phenomena.. Nothing mystical. And he would probably say you cant replicate that by using some path. And that the very attempt to do so or fit his experiences in that system is because thats what thought does.

      @@Moksha_Path_Forever I think he basically gave no regards to these experiences whatsoever. To him they were just happenings. But I say it will be just fun to have all that and not that it is something sacred or noble. Better pleasures than movies and shows and food.😂.

    • @griffithmukta3978
      @griffithmukta3978 Před 3 lety +3

      @@Walklikeaduck111 No actually, on the contrary he always stated that all mystical experiences can be experienced by anyone who follows a system with diligence. But at the same time he says that all such experiences are created by thought and hold no value. It is true because the power of suggestion is well studied phenomenon. In an experiment, a group of meditators were told that if you use this method properly you will make these certain movements. It turns out many of them actually started making those movements. When they asked the instructor about it he said I had just made up the whole thing.
      But then again he says that he is freed from the thought structure. Then how are his experiences taking place ? He is not making a effort to create them. He also says that all experience of the sages was because of acid. But then he talks of Mantra, vibrations, temple energy etc. You see ?
      I think he was lying when he said he is "just" speaking/barking. I think he actually used his words purposefully and wanted people to get out of the spiritual run. Thats why he even blasted things he himself found out to be true. Otherwise why would he give talks around the world to begin with?
      When he says there is no such thing as enlightenment it is similar to what the buddha calls Nirvana. The word literally means that even the flame goes out i.e the seeker also ends.
      Oh god I have so much trash in my head to dispose here.😂

    "The ruthless Selfishness will free you from you selfishness and not through selfness"

    • @ai10oz
      @ai10oz Před rokem

      Ruthless selfishness here refers to the cellular cooperation of the physical living organism. Cell physically knows that it's existence depends on the existence of the cell next to it. Therefore, cells cooperate mutually for their own existence because the death of another cell is destruction of this cell.
      Sometimes people interpret ruthless selfishness in the sense of hustle culture but what he explains everything is always in terms of biology. Unfortunately it is misinterpreted to be psychological as his words pertain to be something explaining about psyche as we see him insisting about making money almost always.
      Hence we can say body is selfish to its core whereas mind plays the game selflessness and become even more selfish and probably create more moral evil than the naturally existing evil of life.

      @@pranavk603 Selfishness can neither harm anybody nor oneself. But the practice of being selfless is harming both the individual and others. There are two types of practicing selflessness. One is intellectual and the other is intuitive. Both these types of selfless practice are a system of controlling your real self. This real self is the body which is biologically selfish by nature which cannot harm oneself or others.

      @daithiocinnsealach1982 Před 3 lety

      I think for what he was trying to convey, limiting his vocabulary hindered him. But he really did try and live a very basic life and saw everything that we add on to it as the cause of our suffering. I hunk when he "threw it all out of him" that he just gave up on it all. Happens to people all the time. They just give up on a partner or career. They lose interest. And they move on. There's an element of the sociopath in him but without the negative aspects. He doesn't care but he's also not going to try and hurt you. He understands his place in society and abides by it better than the average person does.
