Blackout is much bigger and actually has vehicles. But Apex does have more team orientated mechanics making it better for Pub matches.

the ping system is actually a lot closer to league of legends it's been in that game for years. it's just a 3d version of that with smart auto pings

It would be so cool if there was like a rare mech that pops up for the match, or if each squad had one mech for the entire match but have to protect it the entire time from other squads. So much to do with this game. Titanfall 2 was so good and hope they keep going with this game

To be honest, I can't understand why so many people whining about building in a game, the original Fortnite was about building and surviving. Then PUBG came and Epic quickly added a BR mode in Fortnite, which would keep Fortnite true identity. This is what makes Fortnite unique among the BR games. On the other hand, I can agree with the people who complains about the turbo builder tryhards, the players in the next few month after Fortnite BR was realesed, they startes to exploit the building mechanic, whih resulted in big turbo building end fights, where the most no-life guy wins.
Not trying to defend EA, but it looks like Respawn put a lot of work into this game. Some people have the impression that this is a Titanfall game because its set in the same universe and are discouraged by the fact that there are no Titans or advanced movement options. I see this as a fun spinoff game that has some new things other BR games don't offer (I don't remember seeing another BR game with a respawn mechanic). And TF gunplay is tight so this should be very enjoyable for me even without the Titans.

This isn't a titanfall game people, it's in the same 'universe', but it isn't titanfall. It's by the same company so it's going to be similar in looks and how it plays, but it's not about Pilots, so therefore it doesn't have titans or wallrunning. This is what you call a triple AAA battle Royale done by a massive & talented studio (Respawn). Despite the obvious downfalls if the past, it's very interesting to see a 'giant' so to speak take on a new genre and outdo every single one out there.
Look at the entire, the gameplay, everything is supremely polished compared to your Fortnite, PUBGs, DayZ's out there. I definitely was not expecting this, but as a gamer I'm not going to deny that THIS is the kind if battle Royale I've been urning for. Not some broken indie half baked constant frame drop, buggy, laggy, infested with cheaters game like the aforementioned ones. Yes, hackers and cheaters will exist, but in a new AAA title backed by corporate $ like EA, you can bet your ass there's going to be very strict action against those who attempt to exploit the system (akin to battlefield players).
All in all, we'll have to wait and see how everything is first amirite? Anthem seemed great until the $20skin leak became a thing. So I'd be cautiously optimistic about anything nowadays, but this is remarkably surprising and not expected from Respawn in my honest opinion..

Titans would be a major selling point and would enable them to market the game as "Titanfall: Apex Heroes". There aren't going to be any Titans, releasing this game as it is would make absolutely zero sense as a business decision. Also, you can't double jump or wall run.
