@@PenneySoundsI would’ve thought that he was able to absorb stuff before being a boxer, but because he knew the fight was fixed he didn’t absorb anything for that fight. Since he had gloves on he couldn’t touch anything after Jack started hitting back and didn’t have his usual advantage

I don't think it's unreasonable for him to be about a decade older than Matt. He was clearly a young man when he lost to Jack.

they called him a young man in the fight commentary, and id say matts approaching thirty in the show. Id say carl is about 40 in agents of shield
