Escaping the Ordinary: Gabbie's Unfiltered Interview Experience

My name is Gabby Kumar. I am the farm manager of Sanctuary for my favorite farm animals. Our cows. As farm manager, my primary duties are taking care of the animals, making sure they have a clean living spaces every day, making sure they have water and food, and making sure that they are acting normal and nothing is out of the ordinary for them. I was looking for a new farm job and I came across the sanctuary of hope and I fell in love with the place and the care that was for the animals. I think the most important role of the sanctuary is taking in and rescuing animals who need either a new home or for me to be rehomed, need better care, who maybe has been from neglect cases or just from maybe homeless that didn't initially know what they were getting into when they first wanted to have animals. I think it's important to have a farm animal sanctuary just to give these animals a second chance and a better life. Volunteers are very important. They definitely make things easier. Just provide an extra hand and just either help or watch the animals or give the animals more attention than they may get spending. On how busy the days maybe. The sanctuary of hope needs donors and donations so that the animals can get the food they need, the medical care they need. And especially because not every day is the same and not every animal will be healthy all the time. The money would definitely be able to help us take care of the animals to the highest extent that they needed to be taken care of.
