- A rarely mentioned or visited Nature reserve is Pride Park.
Sandwiched between the Motorway and a Bypass it is only accessible from a path at Bistson station over the river birket, or via the access road to Bidston Golf club.
Rarely visited as it doesn't go anywhere. 16.5 acres . But maybe it's a place in between busy roads for nature to thrive.
So does it stand up to the name. Having only been past but never gone in lets go and have a look. Prepare for anything.
Kind of largely left alone and should allow wildlife to take care of itself.

Been there it is a nice spot, a day out in Liverpool waiting for the Wrexham train .Had a hour wait a train was cancelled we had a walk in the park. some thing as nice as the park surrounded by a railway line a motorway and the urban sprawl of Wallasey and Birkenhead
Flashbacks of Mosslands School cross country runs.
I was asking how to get here yesterday! Thanks
Yes it is quite hidden
Is that Himalayan Balsam at 1.43? If yes then the site managers need to remove it now to prevent it overwhelming the banks of the pond. It spreads like wild fire.
This nature is live.
Yes it's a very natural park.
