Huge thanks to Dado for his hard work on this one...ended up taking around 8 hours so this was def no joke. So freaking excited to finally get my Dads exhaust installed! It saved 10 lbs and sounds absolutely amazing! I can't wait for him to ride it and see what he thinks! Stay tuned for that video and lots more coming soon!

I just had my local dealer install a full termi on my 2017 Diavel a few weeks ago. Mine came with a flash key for the upmap and they gave it to me with my old parts when it was done. No full replacement ECU with my kit. Now when the ignition is turned on, there's a "Ducati Performance" logo on the lower screen after the bike outline animation. I gotta say, it runs so much smoother now at low rpms and takeoffs. I knew it would sound good and that was my focus, but the smoothness was the real benefit and I wasn't even expecting that in particular. I wanted/purchased this particular bike (Diavel Gen 2) after I saw your vid for your Dad.

Oban is a small town close to Glasgow. I visited the distillery when doing my erasmus in Scotland! So cool to see it in the channel.

I just checked Amazon for prices of 14 year old Oban single malt. It seems there are a few kinds, the cheapest is £46 up to £130 odd! No wonder his face lite up when he took a sip:-)

I have the same bike same year and from what I recall 2011-2014 full termi has ecu and race filter 2015 and up has flash with key and no filter swap as well. Just saying maybe you got full system for older Diavel. Same exhaust just different accessories. Looks and sounds great.
apparently the 2015 model was a bit unique...it would be fine once we get the race ecu reflashed
@@JaretCampisi That kit with additional Race ECU is for older type of Diavel's bike - Gen 1 (single spark engine). Your Dad's bike is second generation with dual spark engine. That's why it won't work. You could force that Race ECU to cooperation of course by reflash :) or using Tuneboy system or similar one and unlock oryginal, regular ECU... I bought Tuneboy solution. Safe and pleasure ride for you and your Dad!!!

The Diavel is such, such a unique bike - jack of all trades. It’s the best bike to have if you can only afford to have one.

Its a lot of fun to see this videos in Germany. The police and a lot of people here would beat the hell out of us if we would drive these exausts (Streetfighter, Monster, Diavel) on the street. We even got noise limits on racetracks 😂😂 if you got a complete original Ducati Streetfighter V4 or a Panigale you may not even drive on the racetrack because it's too loud. It's just sad
Is it the same rules for bike passing through? I rode my Rocket 111 with Dave Plat Outlaw exhaust and K & N air filters through Germany stopping over night in Hamburg, way loader than this. Was I just lucky? LOL.
@@papatruss the police normally don't care if you from germany or another country. If there is no authorization for this exhaust in germany and they control your bike, they maybe let your bike tow away because it is too "dangerous" for german streets 😂😂😂 it's just stupid 🤷♂️
It's really a shame that a country like Germany, which is famed world wide for its pioneering history of excellence in motorsports racing & engineering, should be so highly overregulated as to not allow a custom exhaust such as this one on public roadways, or even on a damned track!

@@JaretCampisi Would be nice to do a db measurement. In some areas in Austria it is not allowed to drive with motorcycles which have more than 95 db stand noise even when driving half rpm it is less 95 db. Discussion starts in Germany as well. In Germany we also have some nice roads closed on weekends and bank holidays for motorcycles only. 🤬😤
Dado's knowledge and experience is amazing. I could grow to 200 years old and work on bikes every day and not have 10% of his knowledge.

Why don’t you custom flash the stock ecu? On one of my bikes I did the rexxer map but lost hp in the mid range. After a year I went with a custom flash which took 3 hours but man it was perfect. Even with the percentage loss to the rearwheel, it made more hp on the rear wheel than ducacti listed for the engine. Did it with al my bikes!

Awesome master tech install job on behalf of Da Beast ( Dado ) the sounds of the T is amazing , top notch looks & function improvement for dam sure . The bike is not running lean with the stock ECU. Stock ECU will adjust for new exhaust and filter. Of course will be faster with the re tune.

Mitsubishi ecu, i have a mitsubishi 4x4 that will be the nearest i get to that Diavel, although the Oban whisky is local here in Scotland, Oban is a wonderfull little town on the west coast and holiday destination for many
Oban in Scotland has some fantastic roads for motorcycles, it's on the coast of the Atlantic ocean, and the town boasts some pretty famous motorcycle riders, Bob McIntyre, first racer to average 100moh at the TT races and current Moto 3 rider John McPhee !

"Unknown device" Could that just be the servo motor? The race ECU is mapped to not run the servo motor therefore not recognising it as its still plugged in?
nah the bike wouldn't even start with the race ecu in it...we have to send it out and have it reflashed as it doesn't work with the 2015 models
@@JaretCampisi That exhaust with ECU is dedicacted for Gen1 Diavel only (one spark plug version, Gen2 has two of them - your bike). I bought set the same for Gen2 ( I sold ECU) but additionaly I purchased Tunboy tune box with quick shifter and cruise control. Everything works together without any problems. You could additionaly upload up to 3 diffrent fuel map to stock ECU and independently of everything run lunch control like in your Diavel Lambo Edition (Gen3). I don't think the Rexxer solution is the best choice. Think about it.

Oban 14 is a more higher proof tasting than the 18 year version of oban.
18 Oban is my choice for single malt scotch.
Look at Rare Breed of Wild Turkey bourbon, the bottle that I have is 117 proof and it’s pretty tasty for an old fashion .
