- Olive oil has no effect on the complexion.it is just lubricant, for any vegetable oil for that matter, not only olive oil or coconut oil or anything, it doesn’t really make a difference on the skin and the complexion, it helps only to lubricate the skin and helps the dry skin individuals. So if you really have dry skin and you are dusky complexion, please go ahead and apply olive oil. But I would prefer that you apply the oil at night and not at day time because sometimes coconut oil or all these oils can tan when exposed to sun. So probably day time avoid it, night time it doesn’t make a difference.
