I was in the audience for this recording as a 16 year old alongside all the blue rinses ! All Copyright Granada TV 1988 - I do not own any copyright for this video Recorded from UTV 1989
Plenty of clues there that the UTV technicians were hedging their bets over whether there was a Granada TV frontcap at the start of that edition of 'Runway', as the dropping of frontcaps was a very hasty decision taken in Dec 1987, so ITV contractirs'-made programmes already in the can would've had them well into 1988, and Granada continued to 'offer' their logo before falling into line. The long pause on the Ulster Television logo here strongly indicates Havelock House were avoiding a Granada frontcap. Quite a few did still leak-out in these times - obviously when one wasn't expected, or forgotten about - I remember these being common if UTV happened to be showing another ITV contactor's programme regionally, which wasn't unusual either until well into 1990s.
Poor Granville prity tough questions at the end.
Cause of his lack of knowledge of belgum

Why would they try to avoid frontcaps like that?
