@PerceptionDeception Because the people issuing the permits don't care. They also aren't from area and don't have a clue as to what they are doing. It's all about money. They are doing the same in San Francisco, building huge skyscrapers in an area with a history of large earthquakes. Many of them build by investors from China.The environmental damage in California keeps on getting worst.
