    Love this product! Highly recommend. My daughter absolutely hated bottles. We tried every bottle on the market! Now, she can’t let go of her nanobebe bottle. We’ve transitioned to stage two now, but even then, she’s still loving her bottle! Thanks nanobebe

      Our Breastmilk Bottles, Newborn Gift Sets, and Starter Sets all come with a pump adapter for standard, narrow-neck pumps. If you have a wide-neck pump, we sell a separate adapter pack that you'd need to purchase as well in order to connect to your pump.

    •  Před rokem

      Hi - thanks for reaching out with your question! It looks like the illustration in the instructions that you are referring to is from a prior version of our bottle. The newer version, such as the one you have, can be washed and sterilized without removing the silicone ring. If you ever notice any milk residue or debris underneath the ring, you should remove it to clean it fully at that time, but otherwise you should be okay to leave it on.

    • @yelbyrace3238
      @yelbyrace3238 Před 5 lety

      Yeah I contacted them about this, apparently Spectra has its own adapter because they are wider than the typical pump; spectra obviously accepts that this makes their pumps a tiny bit inconvenient when working with other brands. I learned that nanobebe is eventually going to start including both size adapters so there won't be anymore disappointments. In the meantime, you can get Spectra's adapter from them directly.

    •  Před 5 lety

      Our nanobébé breastmilk bottle includes an adapter that is compatible with standard narrow neck breast pumps, such as Medela and Ameda.
      Since the Spectra pump has a wide neck, Spectra now has a converter that enables their wide neck pump to be compatible with the standard narrow neck bottle and adapter, like our nanobébé!
      The converter is now available on Amazon. Please follow this link: www.amazon.com/Spectra-Baby-USA-Adapter-Converter/dp/B071HNT5SM

    Bacteria absolutely do not double every 20 minutes at room temperature.
    Ecoli may double every 20 minutes in rich growth media at 37 degrees. Not in human milk (which has some bacterial inhibitory properties) and not at room temperature of, say, 25 degrees.
    I take the point about rapid cooling, but facts are important.

    Are these bottles anti colic?

    •  Před 4 lety +3

      Our nanobébé bottle comes with a slow flow nipple that was developed with the advice of lactation consultants, for the ideal length, feel and nipple angle, to accommodate Paced Feeding, which most closely mimics breastfeeding. Additionally, we have a special 360 degree venting system that releases air pressure and helps everything from gas and colic, to upset tummy and ear infections. Our biomedical engineers conduct high performance tests on all parts and aspects of our bottle.

    •  Před rokem

      Hi Sarah, thanks for reaching out! First, we suggest making sure that the seal on the bottom and the ring that holds the nipple on are both completely secure, as a small air gap in either of these could potentially contribute to what you're experiencing. If you try that and still run into this issue, please contact our customer service team directly at info@nanobebe.com so they can further assist you!

    •  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi Jazmin,
      Thanks so much for contacting us! We don't have specific details about the compatibility of our bottle with other warmers on the market; however, because of our bottle's innovative design, it fits perfectly in our Warming Bowl. In a pinch, you can also simply place the bottle in any sufficiently large bowl of lukewarm water, though!
      The science behind the Nanobébé design means that it evenly cools and warms milk twice as quickly as regular old bottles, which prevents bacterial growth, dangerous hot spots, and the destruction of precious breast milk nutrients. If you want to learn about how it works, you can read more here: www.nanobebe.com/pages/the-science.
      Regarding our bottle sizes, for the majority of Breastfeeding moms, our 5oz bottles are just right! And for those moms with an oversupply of milk (or with older babies who just want more) we do offer an 8oz Transition bottle.

    Great idea but I don't want to swish and warm it for that long every feeding. I'd rather put a bottle to warm, change a diaper, and come back to a warm milk bottle.

    •  Před 3 lety +3

      Great question, and we understand that you may want to do other things while the bottle warms. Keep in mind that swirling it, as shown in this video, is just a guideline to help avoid hotspots and create even warming. If you prefer, you can simply place the bottle in the lukewarm water and let the warmer do its thing - it will warm quite quickly because of the bottle's unique shape, so you won't have long to wait. We do suggest that you to give it a quick swirl before removing the bottle, just to make sure the temperature is even throughout the milk.

    • @hazelmonroe87
      @hazelmonroe87 Před rokem +1

      @ what electric devices do you recommend for warming/which one is compatible if we decide to not use the warmer that comes with this set please?

    •  Před rokem

      @@hazelmonroe87 Hi Hazel - thanks for asking. Currently, Nanobébé does not recommend using any electronic warming device with our Breastmilk Bottle. Heating breast milk above body temperature can damage vital nutrients in the milk, and electronic heating elements create a risk of this happening (you can read about the science behind it here, if you're curious: www.nanobebe.com/pages/the-science).
      If you do not have the Breastmilk Bottle Warming Bowl, the best option is to place your bottle in a bowl of lukewarm water and swirl it gently. Because of the Breastmilk Bottle's unique shape, which spreads the milk over a larger surface area, it will warm up quickly this way!

    •  Před rokem

      Hi Nina - we're glad you love our bottles! Electric bottle warmers certainly sound like they'd be faster, but thanks to our Breastmilk Bottle's unique shape, they can actually be warmed up in tap water in our warming bowl just as quickly as a traditionally-shaped bottle can be warmed in an electric warmer, if not faster! Using tap water also reduces the risk of nutrient-damaging hot spots that can happen in electric bottle warmers - you can learn more about the science that went into developing our bottle here: www.nanobebe.com/pages/the-science.

    •  Před rokem

      Hi Huma - it's understandable that you might think the shape was a novelty at first glance, but we can assure you, it was designed by two biomedical engineers who researched the best shape to spread breast milk out evenly in order to ensure quick freezing and thawing. This helps limit bacterial growth and prevents vital nutrients from being damaged by hot spots, which can occur in traditional baby bottles! The fact that it's breast-shaped is actually a side-effect of that, with the added bonus that the familiar shape helps with bottle acceptance. And we've had many parents share that the shape makes it quite easy for their baby to hold and self-feed from an early age! You can learn more about the science that went into the Breastmilk Bottle here: www.nanobebe.com/pages/the-science

    I mean does it really have to be shaped like a breast? I think that's unnecessary.

    •  Před 2 lety

      Good question - this was actually a case of form following function! The domed shape is designed to spread the breastmilk out into a thin layer, making it warm much more quickly, and at lower temperatures, than in traditional baby bottles. This preserves vital nutrients in the milk that could otherwise be damaged by extreme temperatures. It also enables it to cool much more rapidly in the fridge or freezer, preventing bacterial growth.
