If the air filter was so bad to cause that much black smoke because of restrictions, which again, wouldn’t do that. The engine wouldn’t even start. That black smoke is from my truck due to the stack being lower than the trailer. Why black smoke? Well, I have a non-emission engine that, at the time, was putting out close to 700hp. That was unburnt fuel. Ever see a truck put out black smoke while accelerating? How about the term, “rolling coal” yeah, that’s what a big boy engine does. 😉 Or did you just comment something you knew nothing about and didn’t really want an explanation?
It’s always been hard for me to justify spending $50-$75 for a trailer wash. And $150 for truck/trailer. I understand pride in your equipment. But always felt like a waste of money to me. If I can do it myself and save a few bucks I will.
@@DrivingByBraille yeah it's I a little ridiculous I spent $80 for a truck trailer and engine Wash at Iowa 80 the other day..... I know most the time Blue beacon is $100 or more especially if you get a washout on top of it I do believe we're getting a little bit ripped off but then again they also have a lot of standards I remember I hired a power wash company to wash our company vehicles where I used to work and the township/state dep came out and said we had to collect the runoff water...... Argued if it was coming off of our trucks then whatever it was we picked up on the road and you have more problems than us power washing our trucks

Worked on helicopters and the tail boom always got sooted up I used 409 worked great. I used a rag and elbow grease.
