It's been the same since his first...show? What did he call it? IDK, the King of Hate. He's had several, and usually has several going at once, but they're all only different in what topics he's scheduled to be discussing and where he gets those topics (fan questions, news, reacts, etc.) From what I've seen over the years it all ends up blending together into...this.

I would hardly say it's irrelevant. The new sht doesn't erase the old, and is largely the same anyway in a different format. I came back after five years away recently and while there were references and stories I wasn't familiar with, it was bizarre how much hasn't changed. Even these meltdowns on his audience are familiar, I remember some Pokemon stream years ago he berated his audience for not watching. So if someone just wants to watch the documentary, they understand DSP and don't need any further information.

But back then, it was a bad look and he had to walk it back and apologize for saying it, it was too much a mask off moment and his fans were genuinely mad at him for it. Now he's "curated" his audience to a point that he can say the exact same thing, but now just double down on it and say if you don't like hearing it, you're banned. Only thing that's evolved is that he's become more entitled and whiny and worse of a content creator than ever before. It is kind of a shame Joon doc won't feature this recent meltdown, because it adds perfect context to how little DSP has really changed when he constantly insists he's improved.
