I have a lot of bald/balding family members and the fact he still has fairly thick hair at 40+ means he's probably gonna keep it but for the rest of his life but it will get thinner especially if he keeps taking those ridiculous hats on and off.
If you're not seriously balding by 30 you're not balding, you're hair and hairline are naturally thinning/receding and you need to take better care of it. My hair started started to go south when I was 32 but I started using rosemary oil and a scalp roller and it made my hair thick again.

I mention the medication because Phil has said in the past that he was emotionally out of control during that period of his life.
