Hi Scarlet, No dont mix it. Apply it and then use the moisturiser on top- see it for 3 days if you dont have any reaction its good...just like i share in this video.

I am glad you found it useful, Nan :) I am afraid AA plus kojic wont work on pigmentation caused by PCOS. If your PCOS is well managed then do give a shot to a single ingredient kojic cream that might work better.

Rutika there is a new product from Reequil just for knees and elbow pigmentation. Do give it a shot and let me know how it works for you. I like reequill as a brand so I have high hopes for this product too. I have not tried it as it would take a few months to show any results, so please be patient with it.

Good question Shilpa. Yes it can be. Use niacinamide before AA. And if you need azelaic use it after AA. All three work differently in controlling pigmentation WHILE also improving skin quality.

I was prescribed with Kojic acid back in 2019 I guess not sure... At that time I wasn't much into skincare and I went to see a derm for acne (for that benzoyl peroxide for suggested ) and for pigmentation I was suggested to Kojic acid... And no Sunscreen Sunscreen or any moisturizer.
I was said to use Kojic acid in morning and benzoyl peroxide at night... I got results my acne subsided after benzoyl peroxide ofcourse and then no moisturizer or atleast Sunscreen is the least the doc could have given me lol. Thank god I didn't use Kojic acid cream at all because it was very think , like damn think and was very grainy like scrub? Lol and got oxidised within very few days 😳
Good you didnt! and if you did it should be used for a few months and def with obsessive sunscreen.
Doctors also do make mistakes, they are not above being human. Everyones advise should be taken with a pinch of your own research. I live by this mantra :)

Hi Rubina! Please let me know if I can use Alpha Arbutin soon after using snail Mucin. Alpha Arbutin needs to be used in the morning or evening? My reime normally is this: AM:Cleaning (Biotique), Cosrx Snail Mucin, Moisturizer containing HA and Sunscreen(Pilgrim)
PM:Cleaning(Biotique) , Vit C(Recast) Moisturizer containing HA, Niacinamide and Bakuchiol(Moms.co) .

2- yes vitc goes after cleaning as it is acidic
3- you dont need HA over and above what you are getting from moisturiser plus mucin is very hydrating as well.

I usually just wear vit c serum and moisturize at night time and sunscreen in the morning. I am sceptical of combining vit c with any other active or ingredient. 😅

Currently i use SA 2% once max. Twice a week
Hi Esha, I am not an expert on keratosis pilariosis. You must see a doctor for it for best results. ITs a medical condition needs a doctors prescription. Exfoliation is def a key requirement so a good aha bha pha exfoliator from Minimalist would be great. This should be used about twice a week. if it sensitizes your skin then move it to once a week.
You would also require a good ceramide enriched moisturiser, which reequill has. You could try it too. BUT PL DO Meet a derm :)
@@RubinaSkincare keratosis cannot be treated it can be managed only,with dermat Rx it improves with severe sensitization also consists of steroids(which i would rather avoid) & all reoccurs as soon as Rx is reduced or discontinued

One second... You said you'll never use their products before. What changed now?
Hi Sakshi, I had said 'HOLD your horses on the products' instead of jumping in. And I had called out two formulations BP +glycolic and ACV something. Both of those are now not available on their website. These two are just not the best straight up. In the interim I had my formulator panel check the rest of the formulations n post those used them on my skin and then posted the review. With acids n actives its incredibly important to be cautious cause the skin damage can be lasting... hope this clears it :) 😃

Srijita, i wouldnt say its better perse. Kojic is def a good ingredient for lightening but AA is just bettter in the long run. So the AA + Kojic gives you great results especially for acne scars. You could use Kojic for a short time and then keep to AA.

Got it for me (acne scars) and my mom(hyperpigmentation).. Hope it works out for us.. I rly ddnt know it takes 7-8 months to show results.. I was hoping maybe sooner.. Is there anything that can work faster for spots and pigmentation.. My mom tried dermat prescribed HQ but tht ddnt suit her much.. Also I have got the retinoid from minimalist as well.. I am in my 30s and my mom is approaching 50.. Will retinoid be helpful.. 👍👍

Both retinoid and AA will help with pigmentation. You will start seeing results sooner but for real fading it does take time. However some skins also react very quickly as the pigmentation might not be deeper. So a combination of factors at play.
You mum should def start on 0.025% tretinoic or Retin A (available at a chemist) i have a video on it..do pelase have a look.
HQ can be an issue. I also have a video on melasma- I have shared a routine that has helped me a lot. You could have a look at that too.

@@himiR98 Niacinamide gets along with majority of ingredients and products so I dont see it being an issue. Let the niacinamide get fully absorbed onto you skin, 5 min gap and then apply the retinoid. If you feel burning or tingling (all skins react differently) that does not settle in the next 2to3 mins wash off with cool water and apply niacinamide only. The next evening start off fresh- cleanse and apply retinoid... def do a patch test of the retinoid before use.

So,using Detoxie Vitamin C serum, aziderm 20%gel, moistuizer, sunscreen in mrng & at night Using AA+Aziderm20% gel, moistuizer.Also doing double cleanse wid Juicy Chemistry Rose hip seed oil after 2mints.massage I leave this oil for 30 mints. both mrng & nyt.Will also add Niaciamide & Retinols after few days. As I ve oily acne prone skin.
